  “Quality and customer service is plummeting with these guys. Used to be amazing now they don’t care. Delivery guy was late annd called them up. Bloke on the phone made me feel I was annoying and zero apology given. They raced around the store asking about the delivery and no where to be located at the store. Said they would refund it. Turned up 30 minutes late. No idea what was going on. At this point. Pizza was cold. I sent him away. I called them back up for feedback and Guy in the phone literally couldn’t care. Then told me I have to call just eat for refund. Was like we don’t care. Been a loyal supporter for years. Lost your game boys. Will never use you again. Glory days are over. Hang your heads in shame. Absolute Disgrace. Wishing you all the worst. You deserve it with that attitude. How not to run a business. Bye forever.”

  “I've been ordering from here for many years, it's steadily gotten worse. ordered this evening, and for the 2nd order in a row the food arrived both late and cold, different delivery guys each time both handed it to me with no bag in sight and ran away, because they knew they were delivering stone cold food. to make it worse tonight the dips I paid for were not delivered, no word from the driver about this, another reason why he ran away. this place seems to be involved in a race to the bottom, sadly they are winning. they may be cheap but there's a reason why, they don't care. if you want a nice take away to treat yourself spend your money somewhere else.”

  “Ordered a pizza from the pizza man yesterday for the first time in well over 15 years lol Being Southchurch never think to order but we had a voucher on just eat and we are so glad we picked Mr pizza man as not only was it the largest pizza I’ve seen apart from in America, it was tasty, fresh, piping hot when it got here and the dough was not heavy. There was Plenty of toppings in good proportions and a good amount of cheese (but not too much). Was tasty reheated as well, dough went crispy. Only small criticism, one pot of sauce for your massive pizzas are not enough, at least 2 needed so please add that next time meaning there will be a next time ;) next time I want a pizza I’ll be coming to you! Thanks mr pizza man. 🍕 👍😘”

  “We love the pizza man and have been ordering from here since moving up the road 2 years ago. The quality, taste and price is so much better than large chain brands, and now we would not go anywhere else. Best pizzas in Southend!”

  “Have ordered from him twice (both in December 2022), and both times have been great. Highly recommend ordering via their website than the food delivery services as the price works out much cheaper. Pizzas are delicious and very fairly price (especially on their website). Delivery was also quick (so quick that it arrived considerably earlier than expected). Either way, would highly recommend. Thanks for the great food guys 😊”

  “Well, what an awful experience we had tonight. I understand it’s the football.. but to be rude to your paying customers? Absolutely not acceptable. We ordered 3 pizzas, did not need them in a hurry. Didn’t chase the restaurant. Was happy to wait till they arrived. When they finally did, 2/3 of the pizzas were utterly destroyed. The toppings weren’t on the actual pizza, slices no longer attached. Cold, dough seemed slightly undercooked. You could tell that this ordered wasn’t well looked after at all. I decided to ring to restaurant to try and rectify the issue, was handed around to 3 separate employees, each not listening to what I tried to say. They asked what I wanted, I asked for a refund due to being told that the wait for a new order would be extremely long and we wasn’t willing to wait any longer than we had. (Had already been over an hour and a half wait). Was then greeted to one final employee who was rude from the get go. Told me to go and ring just eat as they will sort it, there is nothing that they can do. Whilst I was half way through a sentence I was told ‘ok bye’ and they hung up. What a disgusting way to treat customers who are purchasing your product. Will most likely not be ordering again any time soon.”
