  “Very disappointing experience. The offers displayed at the entrance are misleading, but I was charged almost double on the actual bill. I’ve attached photos of the offer and bill as proof. Staff also struggled to communicate in English, making the experience even more frustrating. Would not recommend. The council should take action against such misleading advertisements and pricing practices. Offers displayed at the entrance should match what customers are actually charged.”

  “There’s a lovely family atmosphere present here. Mr Khan was most hospitable along with his brilliant staff. Nihari was beautiful and the Keema Mutter was one of the best I’ve had! Kheer and superb Karak Chai also!”

  “I had a wonderful experience at Red chilli and flame. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavour, and freshly prepared. The grilled chicken, biryani, and tea were especially amazing and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food served. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service throughout the visit. The atmosphere was warm, clean, and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family. Overall, I highly recommend Red chilli and flame to anyone looking for tasty halal food, authentic desi flavours, and a great dining experience in Southampton. Definitely a place worth visiting again!”

  “This restaurant is unfortunately very disappointing when it comes to customer service. The owner’s behavior is extremely unprofessional and rude. Instead of treating customers with respect, he comes across as arrogant and even uses inappropriate language, which is completely unacceptable in a customer-facing business. He also speaks harshly to his staff in front of customers, creating a very uncomfortable and negative environment. That said, the food itself is genuinely very tasty and of high quality, which makes the overall experience even more frustrating. Because of the owner’s behavior, however, I can only give this place one star. A good restaurant is not just about food, but also about how customers are treated, and sadly this place fails in that regard. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their attitude and service.”

  “My family and I have been coming here often for the past 6 years whenever we visit Southampton. Authentic Pakistani food, very comforting and every single dish is a 10/10. No imperfections can be found anywhere. A very popular place as the just eat/deliveroo machine keeps beeping (proves that this place is popular and a favourite for everyone) So hospitable, every single time we come the owner greets us in such a friendly manner. Everyone must try this place”

  “Great food - the best curry house for miles. Ahmed is always willing to adjust set dishes to the customer’s wishes. The food is terrific and very reasonably priced. Loads of choice on the menu too. It’s pretty basic so if you want tablecloths, linen napkins and flock wallpaper, this isn’t the place for you but it is if you want a really great meal.”
