  “It's always brilliant We've just had our 5th one since moving here and it's unbelievable. Best Chinese I've ever Unbelievable amount of flavour and feels way less 'bad' than the normal msg stuff which is crap Could not fault it”

  “Don't live in the area and it was recommended by my brother. Have used a few times in last couple of months due to staying for family emergency. I love the special fried rice even better than my regular one near home. Only thing to bear in mind it's cash only”

  “This is a difficult review because the food we had was very good, however my wife ordered a crispy duck with plum sauce but when we got home there was no plum sauce in the bag. Portions are not the biggest - yuk sung is usually a starter that two can share but the one here is not as big as elsewhere, only three lettuce leaves too. May well give it another try ....”

  “I've been visiting Monkspath Takeaway on and off for quite a few years now, too many to count. The food has always been really good, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. It's also pretty good value too for take out food, and they're very obliging if you want to make any changes to a standard dish - make it hotter, add any extras etc. My orders have always been correct, and I've never had a bad meal or experience. It's a great little Chinese / Cantonese takeaway that has a wide selection of dishes to suit all tastes.”

  “Since change in owners this is the last time I shall go to this takeaway. Most of the food appears to be flavourless with few ingredients from the cash and carry and heated up in the microwave, they hardly cook anything themselves. The previous owners cooked more from scratch and had plenty of regular customers. Thought it was rather expensive as well for what you get. Will be making my own "fakeaways" from now on, with more flavour, healthier and cheaper too!”

  “The best salt and chilli box I’ve had! There’s a couple of places in Shirley that seem to do it but this was the highest quality I’ve had! The Singapore chow mein was really nicely fried dry and hot as described and as we like!! Really impressed with the food! I have to say the service was efficient not overly friendly but not rude it was good! The food was ready when I was told it would be and everything was correct and I got a warning to hold tight to my box which I appreciate as I would have been upset to have missed out on excellent food! I understand cash only and calling or going in to order and delivery only being a certain distance etc can be off putting in a Deliveroo world but this place for me is worth phoning placing an order and popping in to get my cash next door just before picking it up!!”
