About Sal’s Cafe
Sal’s Cafe is a cafe in Sidcup at 65-67 Maidstone Rd, serving breakfast all day. The set breakfasts do not include bread or tea or coffee, so those are not part of the set. A specials menu runs alongside the breakfasts, with spaghetti bolognese as one example. Orders are placed at the counter, and the team does not take orders at the table. Parking can be an issue for those arriving by car.

Customer Review Summary
The criticism is mixed on value and service. One reviewer found it the most expensive cafe in a long while, with no bread and no tea or coffee included with set breakfasts and food that was just mediocre. Another said toast and chips did not come with the meal automatically. The harshest account describes no welcome, a wait to be told it was not table service, then a long wait for sandwiches holding half a slice of bacon each. One reviewer notes parking can be an issue.

“We’ve been here twice now. Usually comes once a year (to visit a mechanic near by) and stops by for brunch. The owner is welcoming, food is fresh, the premises is clean and airy. It’s a lovely cafe and worth a visit if you are nearby.”
