  “Lovely meal with my daughter. Food was so fresh and tasty. The tomato sauce tasted like it's been still growing minutes earlier! Can't wait to go back and try the cheese less pizza! Yes it was that good! Cocktails were also really fresh and tasty, makes a lovely change to have interesting non alcoholic drinks. Would definitely come back. 💕”

  “A bit overpriced and poor service. Not as good as other pizza places. Mocktails mostly ice, but nice flavour. No one checked on us or offered more drinks. We were sharing and no extra plates were given. 10% add to the bill automatically is not ok. Other tables were using a 50% off offer. No one mentioned this to us. It would have been nice if they did. The pizza was ok but where was the cheese? It used to be so much better. The salad was nice. It used to be a good place but other pizza places are far better. £62 for me and 2 children felt like a rip off. Disappointed.”

  “Ordered a kids' pizza for my son for £8 and couldn't believe what arrived. It was nothing more than half a pizza. When I questioned the size, I was told that a full-sized 7-inch pizza costs £12, meaning they're effectively charging £4 for half a pizza. By that logic, the kids' option is actually worse value than the adult one. What made the experience even worse was the response. Instead of offering any explanation or acknowledging how ridiculous the pricing is, the woman behind the counter simply laughed, said, "I know," and carried on laughing. No apology, no attempt to justify it, just complete indifference. Charging £8 for what amounts to half a 7-inch pizza is poor enough, but laughing at a customer for questioning it is appalling customer service. It feels like yet another Sheffield business that's become so popular it thinks it can get away with ripping off local customers. If you're going to charge premium prices, at least provide a meal that's worth the money and treat customers with a bit of respect. Absolutely embarrassing, joke of a business.”

  “Highly recommend Proove! We visited as a large group of 8, including young children and adults, for a birthday celebration. The staff were excellent and incredibly attentive—they looked after us perfectly from start to finish. They were also brilliant with gluten-free allergies, making the whole experience stress-free. The food was excellent across the board and fantastic value for money. A new family favourite”

  “Popped in for dinner before the theatre. Was absolutely lovely, very good menu choices and lovely waitress. Cant fault the menu. Was a little busy but this was expected as it was dinner time: can’t wait to return !”

  “We went on a Saturday evening as a group of 4. The food was great. They have plenty of vegan options. Service was quick, however there was a very large and noisy table next to us which made it difficult to hear each other. The server spilt a drink on our table and the floor and didn't bother to clean it up. Only 30 mins later did another member of staff realise and clean the floor but not the table. We were told upon arrival that they needed our table back after 90mins. However, we felt rushed out of the place as the next table arrived early and was shown to the table next to us and told they would have ours as well once we left. We ended up leaving only 4 mins later than asked, and had to rush eating our desserts.”

  “THE PIZZAS WERE RAW! Worse pizza & pizza delivery experience of my life. First they send the wrong pizza. We wait for the right ones to arrive. And then? They send raw pizzas!!! Absolutely not edible. They had to know that. Horrible customer experience. And now we’ll see if we get refunded…”

  “Proove in broomhill used to be my favourite place to eat - I have genuinely eaten some of the nicest pizzas in my life here but since last year it has gone incredibly downhill (pictures attached). I would no longer recommend proove as a place to go as the quality of the food is now so bad in comparison. The first pictures uploaded are from 2023 and the last picture was from my last visit. The toppings are consistently stingy, especially regarding the cheese and tomato sauce which is just laughable. It’s so unfortunate as it used to be the best pizzas in sheffield. No longer worth the money.”

  “The food is amazing! We had bruschetta, pizza and cheesecake! The cheesecake was the creamiest cheesecake I've ever had, it was delicious. The service was great. Our waitress was friendly and always had a smile. The restaurant itself was warm and cozy. Lovely decor and relaxing atmosphere.”
