“Ordered food for a special occasion with a group of 6 guys. Food tasted great and was hot. When they heard it was for a special occasion they gave us lots of extras for free. I would definitely recommend and be using again. Very reasonable price.”

“People might think it has closed due to lack of review in the last 4 months, but in reality it's one of Sheffield's better Chinese Take away. Though it's a cash only establishment, the taste of the food and the service given by the aunty is on par with famous Chinese restaurants down in london”

“The mixed starter was all Burnt and dry too hard to chew went in the bin the crispy shhredded beef was what i think was in gravy possibly maybe waterd down brown sauce the prawn crackers went from been a side to the main event did not enjoy don't waste your money”

“My boyfriend ordered our dinner here and it was horrible, the only decently good dish was the fried rice with chicken, the duck noodles were burned in the wok, the fried pineapple had the same bad batter as the chicken balls is an absolutely porous and hard batter you could see that the batter is not put correctly and the lemon chicken you can see that it was passed even before cooking it. I will not order food in this place again and I am very sorry because I live literally on the same street and it was our first time. I hope that if you order here you have better luck than us. My daughter got very sad on her Asian food night. Bit disappointed with my food last night as this place is usually outstanding chips where all hard chicken balls where hard as looks like they had been cooked for to long will have to have a think about ordering from here again. It would be a perfect place if they cook the food well since the portions are huge but today we have thrown away £16 since we ordered one of fried pineapple and two servings of sweet and sour chicken and they are not cheap (to be poorly done and throw them away), if it were all delicious it would be so great...”

“Tonight was a disappointment. It’s my go to comfort take away. But this evening the crispy shredded chicken in sweet and sour sauce was just chicken in sweetened tomato ketchup. What’s your with that?”

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers split sharply. Praise centers on the Cantonese style fried steak with boiled rice, which one diner called perfect and which came in a huge portion, with staff explaining the menu and suggesting the rice to suit the sweet barbecue sauce. Fried rice with chicken also earns a good word, and some describe the food as authentic, not stodgy, hot on arrival and reasonably priced. Complaints are specific and recur. Reviewers cite hard, porous batter on the chicken balls and fried pineapple, hard chips, burned duck noodles and a burned, dry mixed starter. Two say the crispy shredded chicken or beef in sauce tasted like sweetened ketchup or watered down brown sauce. One order arrived very late with the prawn toast missing and overly salty salt and pepper chips. Even so, several mention the free mini spring rolls that came with their orders, and one group celebrating a special occasion received lots of free extras.
