Quick info
About Kings Head Yoxford
Kings Head Yoxford is a pub on Brook St in Yoxford, directly on the A12, serving food and drinks through the day under new ownership. The Yoxman Burger comes with chips, the pizzas include a pepperoni and chorizo option, and Sunday lunch is served with pork belly or chicken. Gluten-free dishes are cooked in a separate fryer, so they stay apart from the rest of the kitchen. Dogs are welcome, and the pub provides a water bowl and treats. The owners are renovating the business and share progress on Facebook and Instagram.

Customer Review Summary
Burgers come up most, with diners calling the Yoxman Burger one of the best one reviewer's partner has had, and others praising plain burgers and chips as extremely good and reasonably priced. Close behind is the Sunday roast, where pork belly and chicken are both described as delicious and home cooked, and one reviewer notes it was extremely busy and recommends booking. Pizzas also draw praise, including pepperoni and chorizo and garlic mushroom, along with pulled beef tacos, scampi with crunchy chips, and sea bass with crispy skin. Staff are repeatedly called friendly, and one family's dog was welcomed with a water bowl and treats. A gluten free diner credits the kitchen with using a separate fryer. The one complaint is the music: a Sunday lunch guest found the pop and rap too loud and low quality. Several reviewers say they plan to return, and one finished a meal with a lemon and lime cheesecake.

“Great sunday roast. Husband had pork belly, which he said was one of the best he had had. I had chicken, which was also delicious. Staff were very friendly and made us feel comfortable. Had time to chat with us too. Reasonably priced for a good home cooked Sunday roast. Will definitely be returning. Recommend to book. It was extremely busy.”

“Great experience. Amazing staff and lots of choices for gluten free. They gave separate fryer to cook gluten free, highly recommend”

“Had Sunday lunch at the King's Head. Food absolutely delicious with generous portions and superb quality. Excellent service too. One slight negative though was the slightly too loud and low quality pop music. Not everyone likes to listen to rap while eating Sunday lunch! Fix this with something more relaxing and better quality and bookings might increase!”
