“I have been eating here for many years and it’s a go to treat, as is more expensive than some other restaurants in Rugby. The food has always been top notch. But tonight, not so. I ordered at 17:30 and the delivery was within a hour - all good so far. But….the onion bhajis were overcooked, tasted very bland and there was no salad or dip. The naan bread was undercooked, pale and doughy and everything was lukewarm. The chips, while a large portion, were cold and hard. The curry tasted nice but was quite ‘grainy’ (almond or coconut powder). Nearly £30 for an unenjoyable meal is not good. Lesson learnt and will be sticking to my go to curry house in the future.”

“I have to say it’s the nicest Indian we’ve had in ages. Perfectly cooked, generous portion sizes and reasonably priced. My husband has coeliac disease and they’re very reassuring about confirming the food is gluten free and minimising cross contamination.”

“We always come here for our family birthdays. Its our first choice of places to come for a great curry. Came again on Monday, 7 of us and once again the food and service was fantastic. They always make a special fuss of the birthday boy too. Highly recommend this place and a special shout out to Rafiq for going above and beyond.”

“Come on Spice Lounge. What has happened to you? This was our favourite go to place for years. After this evenings burnt naan, teeny portions of onion salad (reduced in size by 3/4 and yet prices increased) we were extremely disappointed. Main course taste/quality poor too. A lot of food wastage. We won't be returning. Complacency will be your downfall if you don't buck things up.”

“Tried the restaurant recently and the food was tasty, but I did see all the food that we had it were bright red including the bombay potatoes, which it didn't look so authentic, even when the flavours were there. The pkace had a good vibe and it greated a good atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly.”
