  “Went on a Saturday evening, it was pretty quiet and freezing cold even with the heaters on. Staff were fine if not a little standoffish when I mentioned they had added someone to my food which wasn’t on the description. I’m not sure why they did that- it could be really dangerous. Luckily, I noticed it before eating it. They said they’d change it then brought me an old one with now nothing on it - but looked offended when I pointed out my friend was half way through her meal and that’s again not what I ordered. Very strange, just say what’s in the dish and stick to it. Simple.”

  “Regular customers and normally really enjoy coming here, but this morning honestly left us speechless. When we arrived, only ONE table was occupied, yet we were refused breakfast because the booking system was down. We went outside, made a reservation ourselves, came back in and were seated at a high table because our booking was technically 30 minutes later. When our food arrived at our actual reservation time, only THREE tables were occupied and there were still plenty of normal tables empty. We asked to move because eating breakfast at a high table is uncomfortable, but were still told no. Seriously, where is the common sense? Were they expecting a bus full of people to suddenly arrive? We’ve never complained before, even when we were once served by a waiter who appeared to be drunk, but this was ridiculous. Regular paying customers, an almost empty restaurant and absolutely zero flexibility or common sense. Very disappointing.”

  “Six of us had breakfast. The service and all food was excellent. We visited with our daughter and family who were visiting from Surrey and they were pleasantly surprised by the cost for six of us for food and drink.”

  “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a really lovely breakfast at GasLamp Brasserie & Bar in Wickersley and can’t wait to go back! I had the Eggs Benedict and it was so tasty. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the ham was delicious, and the hollandaise sauce was spot on – smooth, creamy, and not too heavy. I also had a cappuccino, which was really nice, and the strawberry iced matcha was absolutely delicious and so refreshing. The whole place has a beautiful aesthetic with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, making it somewhere you want to sit and enjoy your time. The service was friendly and welcoming too, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back to try the lunch or evening menu next time. A great addition to Wickersley and somewhere I’d happily recommend!”
