“What a lovely little gem in Wickersley. The Yard Bistro may look like a small café from the outside, but once you step inside, it’s absolutely gorgeous ; beautifully decorated, cosy, and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. What really made our visit special, though, was the service. The Manager Carly were amazingly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Nothing felt like too much trouble. Fantastic food, gorgeous surroundings, and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend The Yard Bistro to anyone looking for a great breakfast in Wickersley”

“Absolutely gorgeous looking interior which was all homemade which made it all the more special. Also if you are vegan, there are a few options which are refreshingly different to what you usually get when out & about! Just ring ahead to make sure they hv the ingredients to avoid disappointment on the day! They will try their best to accommodate you! Also great choice in hot & cold drinks with alternative milks too! Definitely, worth a visit you will not be disappointed. Gill - Wakefield”

“Voor ontbijt langs gekomen. Reviews waren goed. Ik ben alleen op vakantie met mijn hond. Ik heb drie punten die hier een rustig ontbijten in de weg stonden. Honden zijn helaas binnen niet toegestaan. Ook twee oudere dames met hondje in buggy werden geweigerd. Buiten op de stoep mag je wel zitten, maar daarvoor was het vandaag eigenlijk te heet. Er is geen mogelijkheid om in de schaduw te zitten. Ook krijg je dan geen service. Je moet vanaf buiten zelf naar binnen lopen om iets te bestellen. En dus de hond alleen laten. De twee oudere dames vertrokken daarop. Ik bleef voor een koffie. Toen ze deze kwamen brengen, kwamen ze meteen met de pinautomaat. Verzoek om direct te betalen. Pas daarna de vraag of ik nog eten wilde bestellen. Bij elkaar opgeteld mij besluiten om het hier snel af te ronden en het bij koffie te houden. Eten zag er van wat ik op de tafeltjes zag prima uit. Half lege zaak met allemaal gereserveerd bordjes op de tafels denk ik dat reserveren handig is. Weinig spontaniteit in regels en flexibiliteit. Voor mij een matige ervaring. Leuk om complimenten te lezen over je zaak, maar het gaat om de verbeterpunten. Succes!”
