Customer Review Summary

Breakfast is the main draw, with reviewers describing massive portions cooked exactly as ordered and naming the breakfast burger as a stand out. Close behind are a bacon and cheese burger with chips, ham salad sandwiches and pie and peas with gravy to take home, and a Sunday lunch that one reviewer collected and found still hot a mile away. Staff are called friendly with a good sense of humour, and several describe the prices as reasonable. The complaints are specific. Two reviewers waited around 20 minutes for sandwiches on a busy morning, one receiving a plain sausage instead of sausage, bacon and egg and finding little room to wait. Another describes burnt bacon with the fat left on and reports a hair in the sandwich. A different reviewer called a poached egg on toast with extra eggs, hash browns and a can of pop a cash grab for a greasy spoon, and suggested sharing the Belly Buster instead.

“What a rip off just been in and ordered Poached egg on toast asked for 2 extra poached eggs which I know costs extra and added 2 hash browns and a can of pop and it cost £11.50 But just looking at the menu on Facebook it's basically a cash grab I'm not one to moan of be tight but this is a greasy spoon not restaurant Belly Buster £9 but contains more that the Mini Breakfast and Breakfast so get the big one an share”

“Really dissapointed with my experience at TK’s. Visited on Sunday morning to order a sandwich to takeaway. The cafe was very busy. There was hardly any room to wait around for collection. I was waiting a good 20 minutes for my sandwich. When it came they got my order completely wrong. They gave me a plain sausage when i ordered a Sausage, Bacon and Egg. I got dirty looks from other customers when i complained. Horrible environment to be in at that time. They let far too many customers in!”

“Good food and service. Lots of indoor seating and free parking.”

“Exactly what you want from cafe. Amazing portions, good food, great friendly staff, and very reasonable prices. The BEST and breakfast burger are stand outs. They also do collections so you can call up before hand to order and pick up. Honestly cannot fault it. Will go out of my way to come here over anything more local. I slso want to mention the toilet as its both disabled accessable and has well stocked baby change facilities which was very nice to see and more places should do this.”
