Customer Review Summary
Breakfast draws the most praise at Hunger Stop, with reviewers pointing to big portions at small prices, such as a large sausage, bacon and tomato breakfast that one diner says could have fed two. Sandwiches come close behind, described as fab, really well made and great value, and one reviewer calls the soft bread cake with plenty of bacon and sausages a hangover-curing butty. Coffee is also called great, and one reviewer mentions beef dripping on their spuds going down a treat. Reviewers repeatedly describe the staff and owners as lovely and friendly, and several enjoy a chat when they pop in. The one criticism is that tomato and beans make the bread soggy when there is too much, and one reviewer finds the food a little expensive while still calling it very good. One customer who ordered delivery says it arrived in fifteen minutes with big portions.

“Went in here for a coffee last weekend during our morning walk. Well positioned at the half-way point on our walk from Swinton to Rawmarsh and back, through the countryside. The staff were lovely and the coffee was great. There was such a friendly atmosphere inside the café. Outdoor seating is also available. The service was fast and reliable. The breakfasts looked delicious, we will certainly be trying one next time.”
