  “Sensational. 💝 That’s the word I used then, so I’ll use it again here. The Cotton House is a gorgeous looking building with the garland above the doorway. The inside has a cozy ambience with really polite staff keeping the place running. The Salt and Pepper Halloumi light bites were the most delicious starters I’ve had. The head chef did a superb job with the whole meal. I had the beer battered haddock. Decent portions for one person or more, as well as good prices along with it. Thank you Zac and Marcus for a wonderful meal. Extra points for seating me in a booth by the window. I love a good secluded booth.”

  “Visited on a Tuesday evening and booked just incase, which I’m glad we did as it was busy. This was our first visit and definitely won’t be our last. The restaurant was lovely inside, decor very tasteful and spotlessly clean. The service was amazing, very friendly and made special for my daughter’s birthday. The menu had a good selection of meals and every one of our party of 4 thoroughly enjoyed their food. Definitely booking again soon.”

  “Stopped here for food with kids. Hiked nearby and was hungry. Burger is a burger. Nicely presented but that's about it. Too expensive in my view. The place itself has a nice decor , and feels really warm. Loved the cellar toilets 🚻 Dog friendly”

  “One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a very long time. Service was phenomenal, food was fantastic and it was a great atmosphere. You could tell the owners absolutely love being there too. Staff have been trained extremely well and the place was run very smoothly. Will be coming back very soon”

  “What a find. I've driven past it a million times but never visited. I wanted to go for lunch with my husband for my birthday and he suggested it here. We did book as it was a Friday afternoon. We chose the plant room. We visited just after it opened at 2.30pm. The menu was good and suitable for myself as a vegetarian but I do eat fish. The venue itself was very clean and tidy. The decor is very nice indeed. The food was excellent, we had three dishes and we enjoyed them all. The portion size was generous. The one thing that really did wow us was the service from the three servers that had dealt with us. The timings were perfect, service was just impeccable. We couldn't fault them at all. The owners should be proud of having these three lads working for them. We will certainly be back for sure and be recommending this place to our friends”
