“Sensational. 💝 That’s the word I used then, so I’ll use it again here. The Cotton House is a gorgeous looking building with the garland above the doorway. The inside has a cozy ambience with really polite staff keeping the place running. The Salt and Pepper Halloumi light bites were the most delicious starters I’ve had. The head chef did a superb job with the whole meal. I had the beer battered haddock. Decent portions for one person or more, as well as good prices along with it. Thank you Zac and Marcus for a wonderful meal. Extra points for seating me in a booth by the window. I love a good secluded booth.”

“Food was great when it came. Unfortunately we seem to have landed on a Friday night with only two serving staff on. Waited 20 minutes and still no one asked what we wanted to drink. Went to bar and ordered. Ordered some bread and then had …”

“Exceptional Beef Ragu Rigatoni and Banoffee waffle. The rigatoni had this delicious garlicky cheesy crumb garnish and the ragu had such a lovely deep flavour. I had a signature cocktail too which was made with local honey. …”

“Food was delicious 😋, love the deco throughout, I choose the chicken and bacon salad and it was plentiful, side but the quality of food is fantastic”

“Visited on a Tuesday evening and booked just incase, which I’m glad we did as it was busy. This was our first visit and definitely won’t be our last. The restaurant was lovely inside, decor very tasteful and spotlessly clean. The service was amazing, very friendly and made special for my daughter’s birthday. The menu had a good selection of meals and every one of our party of 4 thoroughly enjoyed their food. Definitely booking again soon.”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
