  “Just had the most amazing Breakfast for the first time here , it was the best we have ever had anywhere, we have dined here for lunch and dinner and all occasions have been 10/10 . Amazing food and the front of house girl is a credit to the restaurant.”

  “I had my baby shower yesterday at La Turka in the room upstairs and all I can say is THANK YOU! The room is absolutely stunning, the communication was great, all of the staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. They helped to make my afternoon so special. They were brilliant with allowing my friends to come early and set up and even helped us clean up at the end. The food on the afternoon tea was delicious and the dietary requirements for some people were met without any issue. Couldn’t be happier and couldn’t recommend La Turka more for any special event! Thank you again to you all ❤️”

  “We have been here before and had a good experience and so decided to try it for a celebration meal. Initially it was all good. The supervisor was lovely and the food good… although even early on we felt that the waitress who took our meal order was a little out of sorts. We had called to push our booking back by 15 mins to 3pm and been informed that the table was needed back at 5pm for another group - no issues. However, when we asked about sweets the waitress said we needed to finish at 4:45pm, which gave us 20 mins. I asked if the sweets would come quickly and she curtly replied “well the waitresses have to make them” putting us off she then said rudely to the backs of our heads as she left that she had told us on the phone. We challenged her about the fact this wasn’t true and she had said 5 and she got really defensive and just kept saying it was obvious that they would need to set up the table and so we should have known it would be 4:45. We got the supervisor who tried to solve it, but the atmosphere had been ruined and we left to get dessert elsewhere. They lost about £100 due to her just not saying “so sorry, can I grab your orders quickly as we have a group coming in”. I said at the time to the waitress that I was unimpressed and she was “sketchy” but that was the wrong word, I would say “mardy”… we were assured by the supervisor that the waitress was excellent, however the whole duration she looked like she was chewing a wasp. We enjoyed the rest of the day, but I would suspect we won’t be back, which is a shame.”

  “First time visiting Rawtenstall and La Turka looked promising for a late, light lunch on a hot Sunday afternoon. It didn't disappoint. The cold sharing platter was perfect, very tasty and delivered a good range of dips for some fresh bread. We would hope to visit again future. Super attentive and friendly staff made for an enjoyable and pleasant walk in experience. Thanks 👍”
