  “The food quality has become very poor. It used to be good when they first opened, but now the standard has really dropped and the food is very disappointing. Sadly, it’s not surprising considering the zero food hygiene rating”

  “We used this restaurant for nearly a year and at least twice a week the food was amazing until last week Friday wow burnt omelet and overall food didn’t taste nice but they re delivered the omelet so we gave them a second chance as it’s normally nice food! This time omelet burnt again and rice very over cooked the chips tasted sweet we rang to be told they don’t offer refunds! After all the time we have used this restaurant I thiught three might have been fair! I think they have a different chef working during the week as the weekends thr food is always nice but sadly we won’t be ordering from here no more”

  “One of the best takeaways ever! Lady who picked up the phone was a delight to talk to! Wish i ordered more at the time but the chicken fried rice was so delicious, perfectly made, just so so good in general, will be eating here soon!”

  “Lovely! Ordered for the first time for 2 adults & 2 young teens & the food was nice & hot even after a 15 minute drive home, no need to re-heat anything. Our order came to £48 for 5x main dishes, a rice dish & a noodle dish so £12 per head & we were all full up & we thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes. Ordered over the phone & received good service, I was told it would be ready in half an hour & the lady who served me was nice & friendly when I collected & the food was ready within a few moments of me arriving. We will order from here again!”

  “We have been ordering from New Lotus House for the last 5 years, on average at least twice a month, and never ever had a bad experience. Ordering and paying over the phone is always easy, and the staff are polite. They always quote an estimated delivery time, and 9 times out of 10, they are quicker than what they say. The food is always hot on arrival and tasty. We always get the cripsy duck and pancakes, which is very nice. The egg fried rice is excellent, as are the chips, curry sauce, and chow mein (which uses slightly thinner noodles than other Chinese takeaways in the area, which actually helps them be not so greasy). Overall, easily the best Chinese in the area and we will always recommend!”

  “First time visiting here 6/9/25, the women on reception wasn’t very friendly, food rating 5, got home food was decent until I found metal shavings in the food. I was giving this food to my kids. Please think twice when ordering takeaways”
