Customer Review Summary

The all you can eat menu draws the most mentions. Reviewers describe a large choice of dishes prepared to order, arriving hot, fresh and quickly, with ice cream or lychee for dessert. Diners call the food tasty, tremendous and fantastic, and several praise the friendly owner and service, including a birthday meal and a visit with a three year old. Value comes up repeatedly, though one reviewer finds drinks slightly dear and another calls the waiter blunt. The complaints are specific. One reviewer describes chicken chow mein with a slobbery, jelly like texture, plus a spider and flies near the table. Another reports rancid garnishes and food that tasted cooked in old oil, and left after the first course. A third reviewer, who was among the only Indian customers across several visits, reports feeling less attended to than other diners. In the rancid food account, the manager reportedly shrugged and said that's how it is.

“music was decent, not packed at all. There was a spider next to my companion, flies where’s hovering around my food. Chicken chow mein was decent but the chicken had a slobbery jelly like texture. £15 min per person was but silly if you only want a small meal The waitress had a slight towards attitude us”

“We have visited this restaurant several times hoping our experience would improve, but unfortunately it has been consistently disappointing. On each visit, we felt unwelcome and noticeably less attended to than other customers. We were the only Indian customers in the restaurant and observed staff greeting and interacting warmly with other diners, while we received no smile, little engagement, and inattentive service throughout our meal. I don't normally leave negative reviews, but after giving this place multiple chances, the pattern has become impossible to ignore. Whether intentional or not, the difference in treatment left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. We will not be returning. Very disappointing experience.”

“If you want a good Chinese then I’d suggest you head to the Emperor in north Cheam. I went there tonight and the food was off and the service was poor. We went for the all inclusive menu but left after the first course as the food tasted so bad. Rancid garnishes, old runner bears and food that tasted like it had been cooked in old oil. When I mentioned it to the manager, he shrugged his shoulders and said that’s how it is. Dreadful and won’t be going there again!! Suggest you don’t either.”

“We are here early tonight 23/11/25 and had a lovely meal. We live in Cornwall and so really good Chinese food is a real treat and we was certainly not disappointed one little bit, the food was tremendous. There was a couple of juvenile idiots who tried to get in but who were refused due to the fact that they had a history of not paying and generally being disrespectful even though there was children in the restaurant. They didn’t do anything to ruin the atmosphere however, they just embarrassed themselves and their people. The friendly owner handled the situation professionally and respectful. We will definitely return whenever we are in the area. It’s absolutely well worth a visit.”
