Subway

Subway on Blackpool Rd is a sandwich shop set in a small unit on a busy road on the edge of Preston, run as a walk-in counter service for quick lunches and early dinners through the week. The menu centres on the build-your-own sandwich format, with toasted and cold options layered with bread, cheese, meat and salad to order. Customers who use the app to order ahead typically find their sandwich ready on time at the counter. The team behind the counter keeps the service moving and is chatty with regulars as they work through the line. The location suits passers-by heading along the route out of town, with most orders taken to go rather than eaten on the premises.
