Customer Review Summary
Diners most often single out the pistachio cake, with baklava close behind. One reviewer calls it the best baklava ever, and another finishes a shared meat platter with homemade baklava. Starters draw praise too, especially hummus and baba ganoush with homemade bread, plus falafel, calamari and crispy prawns. Among mains, reviewers name salmon izgara, seabass, Adana kofte, vegetarian musakka and mixed sis kebab, and one says the flavours took them back to holidays in Turkey. Turkish coffee also gets a mention. The complaints centre on value and takeaway. One reviewer found a takeaway chicken kebab box a child's portion, with no pita and only two soggy pieces of wrap under the chicken. Another found the food good but expensive, with less meat than a rival grill, and objected to a cola they believed came from a can bought at a shop across the road. Most describe friendly, family run service, and one group celebrating a birthday had the chef come out to say hello.

“After reading good reviews decided to try this as my usual place in lytham was shut and I have never been so disappointed in my life. Unsure if this restaurant is not used to being asked for a takeaway and what the portion sizes should be in the box but what I was met by when opening the box was nothing short of dismal as the photo shows. The portion size was what I would consider a child's portion (and for the price £18 odd this hurt even more), not pita bread served with the chicken kebabs other than 2 very soggy pieces of a wrap under the chicken. Having seen such great pictures on other reviews this was utterly disappointing. Other than the friendly waiter who greeted us ive not got anything good to say, sadly.”

“Well I've just had one of the best meals I've eaten in year's. It was so good that all 4 of us had 3 courses, and i never do that. To start with i had Falafel £6.95 with hummus which was a perfectly sized starter and was very moist. My friends had crispy prawns £7.95 falafel £6.95 & hummus £6.95 and all enjoyed them. For my main I had salmon Izgara £18.95 which was 2 grilled salmon steaks with a kind of ratatouille, broccoli and carrots with chips, the salmon was cooked just how I like it. My friends had Adana Kofte £15.95 which came with salad & rice & vegetarian musakka £16.95 which also came with rice and salad. Everyone enjoyed it. We couldn't resist trying the pistachio cake £6.25 and baklava £7.95 both were very delicious. We'll definitely be calling again.”
