“False advertisement on Uber eats. First they had offer that they will send free item if i buy 15 pounds stuff i did it they didnt send the free stuff. On top of that they didnt send the salad thats in the picture. I told them about it so the guy who picks up said that oh you are the first person to say that. Mis leading advertising wasted my money. No customer service too.”

“I recently visited Coco's Soul Food. The service was good. The elderly gentleman upstairs was attentive, friendly, and clearly cared about the customers, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food told a very different story. The “jerk chicken” was not jerk chicken. I’m genuinely not sure what seasoning it had, but jerk it was not. It was also extremely salty, which made it difficult to enjoy. We also ordered Aunty Katie’s Trinidad-style channa and aloo. The aloo (potato) was missing entirely, and the curry itself didn’t taste like curry. When a dish is labelled with a specific country or cultural cuisine, authenticity matters. People who are familiar with that food will recognise immediately when something isn’t quite right. The mac and cheese was another disappointment. It was runny, bland, and lacked any real cheese flavour. To be fair, not everything was negative. The oxtail and coconut curry were apparently very nice according to the person who ordered them. However, for a place that promotes Caribbean and soul-inspired food, several of the dishes we tried were far from what we expected. Friendly service alone unfortunately couldn’t make up for the lack of flavour and authenticity in much of the food.”
