About Kisa's Perth
On Mill St in Perth, Kisa's Perth is a restaurant and the flagship of a small group that also includes Le Jardin in Kinross and Cafe Kisa in Auchterarder. The menu is large, with a separate dessert menu, and the staff go through which dishes and desserts can be adapted for dietary requirements. Haggis appears twice, in a burger with drambuie sauce and on a pizza alongside black pudding. The drinks list includes a piña colada, with a mocktail version for anyone avoiding alcohol. Potato wedges and olives are on hand as nibbles to share with wine. Inside, the restaurant has regular indoor seating, a lounge area and a separate bar area. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Potato wedges and olives, shared over a bottle of wine or a drink in the sun, draw the most repeated praise, with one reviewer calling the wedges the best they have tasted. Close behind are the friendly, attentive staff, described as accommodating to solo diners and families. Mains also get specific mentions: a burger with haggis and drambuie sauce, a pizza with haggis, black pudding and marscapone, baked salmon fillet, a salmon and peach salad, lasagne and a baked potato. French toast with fresh fruit and a decaf cappuccino earn praise too, and two reviewers single out the piña colada, one of them the mocktail version. The complaints are minor. The haggis and drambuie sauce looked watery and tasted poor on its own before it came alive on the burger, the deep-fried banana was nice but needed more, and one family noted there were no draft drinks. One diner with a dairy allergy describes a waiter who went through the desserts and pointed out which could be adapted.

“I was so impressed with Kisa's tonight. Having a dairy allergy can make eating out tricky and limiting. Kisa's was amazing, there was so much choice. I was particularly impressed with the dessert menu. The waiter taking his time to go through the desserts and pointing out which ones can be adapted. I highly recommend Kisa's, a fab place.”

“A return visit for us, as staying next door, new owners took over in July, but still the same friendly welcoming staff. We visited twice during our stay, managed to sit outside as two luvly sunny days. Ordered our bottle of Sauvignon and shared olives and potato wedges, the wedges were the best I've ever tasted. Outside area ideal for people watching, we thoroughly enjoyed our visits. The young man at the till, who remembered us from our first visit was chatty and luvly. We will return next time visiting Perth. :) :) :)”

“Our first visit since it had changed hands and the nibbles are still superb. Only popped in for a wine in the sun, but the wedges and olives tempted us. We will be back tomorrow. 😀👍”

“I visited Kisa’s after finding it during a morning stroll around Perth, I was on the hunt for some breakfast and at the time (9:30am) it appeared to be the only place open. I’m certainly glad it was because this place was a real find! So much so after having breakfast I returned later in the day to have dinner there too! As a solo diner the staff were really accommodating and friendly. When first arriving in the morning I was shown to a table and left with a menu. Before long a lady came over to take an order and I opted for french toast with fruit and an orange juice. The restaurant was nicely decorated, clean and tidy. You have the option for indoor or outdoor seating and I opted for indoor. There was also a few other people in at this time and you could tell it’s a popular venue for a nice bite to eat. The food came over promptly and I was warned the plate could be hot. The French toast was delicious and the fruit nice and fresh. I enjoyed the food a lot. While I was waiting for the food I had time to look through the lunch and evening menu which lead to the decision to come back and eat there again later! The staff were wonderful and couldn’t fault them, upon paying I made a reservation for dinner and despite the fact they were fully booked as an event was happening nearby they could reserve me a table in the bar area which was kind of them. Later in the day I went back having booked to eat at 5:30pm upon arrival had another friendly staff member show me to the table and left me with the menu briefly so I could choose my order. I opted for the baked salmon fillet, which was absolutely delicious one of those plates of food you don’t want to end! For dessert I tried the deep-fried banana. Wasn’t sure what to expect with this, it was nice but perhaps needed a bit more to the dish. I also enjoyed a pina colada to wash it all down! Overall the staff were pleasant, friendly and attentive. I didn’t feel like I was waiting too long for anything at all which is nice when you’re a solo diner. The food was delicious and a great overall menu to choose from. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, I really did enjoy my experience here and if I were to ever visit Perth again I’ll feel sure I will visit Kisa’s again, highly recommended!”
