About Buttylicious
Buttylicious is a cafe on Ashton Rd in Oldham, open for walk-ins with no booking needed. The breakfast menu centres on a "boop breakfast," built around bacon, sausage, egg, mushroom, plum tomatoes, beans, black pudding, and a slice of spam with toast, available in smaller or bigger sizes to suit different appetites. Ham salad sandwiches are made with muffin bread, and cornflake tart is on the menu. Food is available to eat in or take away, giving customers the option to eat off site. Outdoor seating is available for those who prefer to sit outside, and high chairs are on hand for families with young children. The cafe runs daytime only, Monday to Saturday, and stays closed on Sundays. It operates on a walk-in basis rather than taking reservations.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the cooked breakfast, with the bigger breakfast singled out for its bacon, sausage, egg, mushroom, beans, black pudding, a slice of spam and three slices of toast, described as delicious and not greasy. Close behind are the buttys, which one regular calls great every time, and a ham salad sandwich on a large muffin with plenty of salad. One reviewer also praises the cornflake tart. Value comes up repeatedly, with several calling the prices reasonable or spot on, and a few stopped in for breakfast and a brew while a car was being repaired nearby. Staff are described as friendly, polite and kind, and one long-time regular says first-timers and years-long customers are treated the same. One reviewer on a third visit reports very rude treatment from a front-of-house worker and felt she did not care about new or multicultural customers. Another visitor noticed the woman at the front knew everyone by name as people came in to eat in or takeaway.

“Guaranteed a great butty every time. I've been going here for years and can't praise the service, quality and price enough. Keep up the great work team.”

“We popped in because we were having a car repair done and had a bigger boop breakfast as it worked out cheaper than the smaller one with an added item. It was really good and I'm glad we chose it. The portions were decent and the food was delicious. Not greasy at all. It was incredibly good value for money. £8.40 for 2 bacon, 2 sausage, egg, mushroom, plum tomatoes, beans, black pudding and a slice of spam. Oh and THREE slices of toast! And then a £1 for a coffee. The lady at the front was really friendly to us and whilst we were eating, several people came in to eat in or takeaway. She knew EVERYONE by name. I just wish it was more local to us!”
