“Excellent dining experience. Conor and Aggie were professional and friendly. Attentive and understanding Conor made our experience superb. Great cocktails and wine alongside a fabulous meal. Thank you. Iain.”

“We went for the 'tea for two' with Virgin experience. The receptionist was very polite and showed us to a selection of tables. Then the waitress introduced herself and explained everything that was included. There were two girls serving the drinks and 3 courses that we had. Both took time to explain in detail what each item was, which gave the whole experience a very high class feel about it. We stayed two hours and had a fabulous experience.”

“Woodborough Hall was the venue our lunch club selected for our 48th annual ladies’ lunch; this year for 30 members and guests. It is always the highlight of our year when we do strive to find somewhere we have not visited before and that is very special. The Hall and gardens have an interesting history and are in a wonderful peaceful setting on the outskirts of the village. From the moment we decided on this venue the Hall staff consistently demonstrated superb teamwork throughout, with prompt and accurate communication. Their expertise, presentation and attention to detail was second to none; nothing was too much trouble. We experienced fine dining in the Orangery, an air-cooled and delightful space. It was as though we were actually seated in the garden. We pre-ordered from a choice of three courses, with sides, cheeseboards, coffees and petit fours. Woodborough Hall is truly a gem of a find, a remarkable venue, in a perfect setting, offering fine dining, fantastic attentive and friendly service.”

“Quite disappointed. Paid £35 each. Didn't think the fayre added up to this price. Sandwich bread huge with little filling. Cakes average. Clotted cream was churned butter, not cream, grainy. When l explained this to the staff member he said it was made on the premises and assured me it had gone through the process of clotted cream making. I defy anyone to say it was clotted cream. The whole menu, needed sorting out. Coral the staff member did his best to deflect issues and gave me £2.00 off a large glass of wine, which was really good, but not what l was fishing for. Would l go back? NO!”

“I honestly don’t have enough good things to say about this venue. Whilst it was a luxury venue, it was worth every single penny and more. From us begging them to open their books so we would save our date 2.5 years before our wedding to the morning after our wedding they were completely faultless. Nothing was too much trouble, every request they accommodated. I cannot believe how they brought our (let’s be honest, my!) vision to a reality from my poor pictures and Canva drawings. They were attentive on the day and when we visited the million times before, they were so warm and kind. Jenny & Abigail were absolute stand outs and I couldn’t be more grateful to them for how smoothly they made the day run. The grounds themselves were outstanding and guests commented constantly on how beautiful the venue was. I couldn’t honestly go on and on about the intricate details of this venue and how amazing they were.”
