  “Service was not good. I ordered pizza with chicken tikka. The girl repeated the order three times. When I got home with the pizza, I was given a pizza with no tikka. I was given my money back after being questioned why we had eaten some of it. Obviously, we assumed it would be what we ordered. The man in the TikTok videos needs to learn about customer service and teach his staff how to communicate better. The shop needs a deep clean, and why on earth would you let customers order from a dirty, old, chewed-up menu? I can't understand.”

  “My recent trip to Grillos was an absolute disaster from start to finish. The food was shockingly awful – greasy, tasteless, and utterly unappetizing, making me question if any care went into preparing it. The service was equally dismal; staff seemed completely disengaged and borderline rude, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. To top it all off, the atmosphere felt tired and neglected. It was a thoroughly regrettable experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.”

  “Tried this place late at night and honestly impressed. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The burgers were juicy and the fries were perfectly crispy. Staff were friendly and service was quick even though it was busy. Definitely one of the better late-night spots in Nottingham. Will be coming back!”

  “Honestly really disappointed. I ordered fried wings but got grilled instead, which is not what I asked for at all. Tried reaching out and got no proper response, just automated replies with no real help. Not sure what’s going on but this experience was frustrating and a waste of money. Wouldn’t recommend if they can’t get a simple order right or respond like actual humans.”

  “Food is very nice, prices are reasonable. The shop is very basic but what else would you expect for a grilled chicken shop. Workers are nice and respectful, would definitely visit again. Their loaded peri fries for £4.99 are amazing and you must try them. Most shops in Nottingham charge £7+ for loaded fries.”

  “I ordered the pizza multiple time but when i went to shop the front of house uncle was misbehaving with everyone and serving people very rudly. Hardly giving discount to students. Very disappointed by him grillos might be deserve good rating but because of that front of house uncle I'm giving 1 star.”

  “We ordered spicy rice with 8 wings for £5.99. Food: the rice was lovely, fragrant. The wings were fresh, piping hot and had good flavour. The wings could be spicier. Service: Food was served quickly but no pleasantaries exchanged. Atmosphere: The restaurant was spotless and has a 5 star hygiene. Hygiene: I did notice a small black hair on the tray hence they couldn’t be given 5 stars. Will return if in the area.”
