  “Went in for the first time as it’s always jammed packed, felt uncomfortable as many people staring at us. Seems like it’s maybe full of regulars who know each other. Was heaving, hardly any seats free. The barman was decent and service was good. Doesn’t seem to have online ordering linked to the menu QR code like other Wetherspoons branches do however.”

  “We went on a Saturday night, despite being busy we found a table to sit. Service was fast and efficient. Had a good buzz without being rowdy.”

  “Really nice food for a weatherspoons. Always busy. Dirty plates were left on the table all the time we were waiting even after asking for them to be taken away. 10/15 minutes wait for our food.”

  “We go here for breakfast with the family about 9 to 10 of us food comes out hot and well cooked one of the best or the best places for breakfast alot better the arnold”

  “Great place for a bite to eat and a drink. All day brunch 2 sausages 2 bacon 2 eggs beans and chips with unlimited tea / coffee or soft drink £5.11 You cant beat that. Great pub classic menu. Service friendly can't fault it. Look forward to trying some more of the menu.”

  “Group of us had a curry here on their curry night event which was excellent. We ordered on their app at the table and food and drinks were served quite quickly. Staff very busy but we had great service. Good atmosphere, it was busy so be prepared to look around for a table but it is a large pub so you should find one. Very reasonably priced if you eat from the special offer menu for that day, which is usually a meal and drink . Can recommend.”

  “Good food and drinks. Modern pub with good atmosphere. Good value drinks and food. It is a Wetherspoons so you know exactly what to expect. Has clean toilets. Some outdoor seating at front of the building for seating outside in good weather. Limited street parking nearby but free for 2 hours. Does not have a car park for the venue. Visited recently and still good value for drinks but food quality is not as good as it once was.”

  “0/10 hygiene! Very dirty tables and glasses. The service me and my family got when we asked the staff to clean was appalling. The first one doesn’t clean it properly and the second one who came along gave it a proper clean. Oh and this was happening after 15 minutes of sitting. If you value cleanliness and basic hygiene, do NOT come here”

  “Cole is an enthusiastic member of staff and a credit to the business with assisting customers and being genuinely interested in them. I had a pint of Jester which was so good I stopped for another. Clean throughout and nice decor. Not sure if there's a rear beer garden, however there's two other pubs close by. Will return and edit if necessary, hopefully culminating in a 5 star review”
