“We arrived for one of our many breakfast meets at the Nelson before a day trip to London .As regulars we were greeted by Amy who had even taken the time make us a little plaque up as it would be my parties last breakfast before closing . Amy was as attentive as always, smiling interacting and a credit to herself her team and her employees . I’ve been coming here for many years and I am sad that this will be our last . All the staff are fabulous.I have never had an issue in 15 years …… will be sadly missed .”

“My friend attended here but is too frightened to leave a review himself, so I’m speaking on his behalf. Nachos were fantastic. Really, really good. No complaints whatsoever. As for the mixed grill platter… the less said the better. I’ve never seen a man’s spirit leave his body quite so quickly. He was devastated. Inconsolable. A shell of the man who had so confidently ordered it just 20 minutes earlier. The atmosphere was incredible. Spine-tingling. At times genuinely electric. Thank you.”
