  “We finally got to eat here after years of never getting round to it, and so glad we finally did. In keeping with many other reviewers, we have to rate this place very highly because it really is the genuine article. All the food was pretty authentic Italian, and the pizzas truly were great, with a lovely light crust and tasty toppings. The wine was excellent and very reasonably priced, and Liv who served us was super friendly and efficient. We had the Friday lunch menu with a fixed price for 2 courses, and even with extra toppings, alcohol and coffee on top our bill was still less than £50 for two, so pretty darn good by today's (Oct 2026) norms for eating out.”

  “The service was brilliant, 100%. I couldn't fault it if I tried. The food was out of this world. It was the 1st time here for me, it certainly won't be the last time. It was a lovely atmosphere on this particular evening, while it was busy, there was still enough space in which to move, and we could hear ourselves talk without straining. I cannot recommend the rustic crust enough, to anyone. You need to go. If you like pizza, you'll love these.”

  “Had the pleasure to enjoy this delicious pizza at my sister in laws birthday party. The pizza oven in the Range Rover made for a great show, only topped by the pizza itself. Delicious dough, cooked to perfect crispiness and chew. The toppings were also great, with the pepperoni pizza being the highlight. Wonderful chat with the very knowledgeable owners who were great. Would definitely go the restaurant now!”

  “The Rustic Crust aka Mr&Mrs Crust, Camilla and Ross attended my 60th birthday party in Newark. Our party was outside due to fab weather and amazing venue. They catered for around 80-100 people with ease. The pizzas and variety of pizza were outstanding and the cannoli's are the best and the naughtiest desserts ever. They were friendly, efficient and professional. Setting up and clearing away without any fuss, it was fantastic and meant I could enjoy my party knowing they had the catering side of it completely in hand. Would I use them again? Without hesitation and I would recommend them to anyone who wanted great pizzas, outstanding service and a professional, friendly couple at a very competitive price. Don't think you could choose a better service. So big thanks to Camilla, Ross and Poppy the Land Rover Wood fired pizza oven, you contributed to a fantastic party. The best party I've been to in a long time Was just one of the many compliments I received. Ange and Nick”

  “Got a collection order from The Rustic Crust including one Gluten Free. Absolutely fantastic pizza, so delicious. Pizza was ready right on the arranged time so was still nice and hot after the 10 minute drive home Will absolutely be coming again”

  “We had a fantastic lunch at The Rustic Crust today and can’t recommend it highly enough. The restaurant itself is beautiful – a stylish rustic interior with exposed brickwork, white tiled surround, and an open pizza oven that creates a warm, authentic atmosphere. We shared the homemade meatballs with focaccia, served in a rich, beautiful ragu, alongside one of the best side salads I’ve ever had. The sweet caramelised onions were perfectly offset by the sharpness of the sun-dried tomatoes, all brought together with fresh Italian leaves and a simple olive oil dressing. It was an outstanding combination of flavours. Our pizzas were equally impressive. The quality of the ingredients was exceptional, with authentic Italian meats, fresh basil and oregano, and perfectly balanced seasoning. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and was cooked to perfection. To finish, we had the tiramisu and a biscoff cannoli, both delicious, followed by excellent coffees. The service was warm, attentive and professional throughout. A superb lunch with top-quality food, wonderful ingredients and a fantastic atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended.”

  “Had an amazing lunch time meal today with a great service from Joe. Absolutely 10/10 food. If you think the pizza is good (which it absolutely is) just wait until you have one of their cannoli’s!!!! We will 100% be back🤩”

  “Worth the treck out to enjoy some exceptional pizzas. The boys also had the Filthy Conollis which they described as "mint". Great for a family meal or with friends.”

  “An absolutely wonderful eating experience. Really love the rustic crust, you can tell the staff are super passionate about you having the best time. Food was 10/10, the sharing board was delicious and our pizzas to die for. We didn’t realise until the end that we were being served by the owner who really made the whole evening for us. You can tell she is massively passionate about her business and went above and beyond for us. Will 100000% be returning!”
