“Everything was going smoothly, sat quickly and glasses bought over as soon as we ordered. Where it all went wrong was the fact they had no forks cleaned, which wouldn’t have been bad but it took them almost ten minutes to provide two forks, bearing in mind we were the only people in the whole place who had just got their food and everyone else was already eating. when we asked for a fork the second time, a server went to get some but started cleaning about a hundred, rather than just giving us two and then carrying on with the rest. the back of the bar was also disgusting. no apology, no efficiency, nothing. the manager running the shift clearly wasn’t on top of things.”
