Customer Review Summary
The Market Breakfast is the dish reviewers raise most, with one calling it spot on for size and welcome for being a full breakfast without the heavy grease. Close behind are the Turkish eggs, which one diner says they will return for, and the big 5 smoothie. Coffee draws mixed comments: an americano is called delicious, and a turmeric latte and the cakes are praised, yet several note drinks arriving only warm, including a latte and a weak breakfast tea. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and cheerful, and dogs are welcomed inside. The main complaint is value. A few feel portions are small for the price, such as French toast that came as two small square slices, and one reviewer found the market breakfast lukewarm, with rock hard sourdough, a flat hash brown and bacon that was tough to cut. One coeliac diner notes the menu is clearly marked for gluten free choices. Several mention being seated quickly, and one says the food was gobbled up before they could take a photo.

“The Market Breakfast was ok not ever hot just warm (I've had better) for the price you pay you would expect more then what you get. The decaf tea was weak & only warm. The latte was warm in a cup with no handle. The sourdough bread was rock hard on the outside, hash brown was flat like it had been ran over & bacon was tuff to cut.”

“I love the Market Place in Morpeth! Whether it’s a quick takeaway coffee or turmeric latte or a more relaxed meal, they have never once let us down in years of experience. The staff are always attentive and cheerful, the cakes are epic and the atmosphere is great! Highly recommend!”

“Every thing was brilliant- I loved the Market breakfast. Spot on with sizing. Breakfast tea lacked flavour despite brewing for 15 minutes. However, the americano was delicious. Lovely to have a full breakfast without the heavy grease. Friendly service! No photo’s as food was gobbled up quickly!”

“This place was really nice. The staff were really nice and the food was spectacular. I would highly recommend this place as it’s a nice place to go for breakfast and I got seated really fast. 10/10. The big 5 smoothy was amazing as well”
