Customer Review Summary
Coffee is the draw most reviewers raise, called great and excellent, with the decaff singled out as excellent too. Close behind are the fresh seeded roll bacon sandwiches, the paninis and the lunchtime salads, along with a hot Italian filled roll described as delicious. Tea and pastries also earn praise. Several call the outdoor seating pleasant, and others describe a cosy spot for a quick catch-up or a laptop session. Friendly service comes up repeatedly, though one regular says standards slip when the owners are away. That reviewer cites a panini that arrived with green olives nobody asked for, frothy coffee mess left on a table from earlier customers, and very slow service in a quiet cafe. One reviewer thinks the cake selection could be better, and another notes only a slight wait at busy times. One passing cyclist found the cafe out of hummous, and the staff cheerfully substituted egg mayo in the falafel salad.

“Great little cafe out of the way of the humdrum of the ones in Marlow, better quality and atmosphere as well”

“I am a regular customer here and find some inconsistencies which occur when the owners are not there. For example getting my food order wrong, putting green olives in my panini which I had not asked for, leaving frothy coffee mess in the table from previous customers and very slow service despite being quiet . The service is always a joy when the owners are there who know how to greet and serve their customers. A pity this is not cascaded down to the rest of the staff !”
