Customer Review Summary
Satay Chicken and crispy shredded beef are the dishes reviewers name when they praise the food, and a chef by trade says he will go well out of his way for the satay chicken. Several regulars describe fresh, flavoursome food and friendly people, and one visiting family mentions a child being handed a candy in the shop. Service splits the reviews sharply, though. Three reviewers report taking back cold food and being met with arguing and shouting, one saying staff tried to charge more instead of refunding. Two of them say their children were recorded and staff refused to delete the footage. Others describe a curry with no taste, dry and overdone pork ribs and spring rolls, and pickup times that slipped well past what was promised, with one suspecting regulars were served first. A couple of fans admit to the odd longer wait. Those who return mention free prawn crackers even on small orders, and a woman at the counter who refused a tip, saying that coming back was enough.

“Food is good but the service is poor. Called to order and was told food would be ready for 7.15pm. Arrived on time and paid - they said cash only so just about managed to scrape together the money, as the cash point was out of service. No delay was communicated. Food was finally given to us at 7.50pm, 35 minutes later than we were told and only after I chased. We had two young children hungry and tidy, following a day out. It Is clear they don't understand the importance of giving accurate times. During our wait many customers walked in, ordered and were served food before us. We didn't have a complex order - clearly regulars were being treated preferentially. Furthermore, they have a card machine that sneakily appears on the counter for certain customers, again I assume regulars who are treated preferentially. In future il stick to Top wok.”

“Worst customer service ever arguing and shouting at us when we explained the food was cold and brought it all back. Shaking with anger and arguing amongst themselves tried to charge us more money instead of issuing a refund. Recording our children when asked to delete refused and was very aggressive. Food was freezing and refried food”

“Hands down the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Food was cold and inedible , took it straight back and they argued for over 40 mins, shouting at out two kids and recording them. The rudest staff ever . Avoid this place at all costs”
