About Han Chinese Cuisine
Han Chinese Cuisine is a Chinese restaurant in Market Harborough, with its dining room upstairs at 29 St Mary's Rd. The room is built around large party tables with turntables in the middle, which suit group meals. A set menu is offered for groups, so a shared table can be ordered in one go. The kitchen serves aromatic duck as a starter and whole duck as a main, with spring rolls for the table. A lunch offer pairs a starter with a main.

Customer Review Summary
Duck is the dish diners raise most, with one party ordering the whole aromatic duck as their main alongside plenty of sides, and another pairing crispy duck with spring rolls, ribs and chow mein. Close behind, reviewers praise the satay beef for its subtle flavours, the fresh and tasty rice, and a big portion of crispy noodles. Groups and family celebrations come up repeatedly, with large party tables with turntables, a set menu for group meals, and birthday dinners described as delicious and friendly. Staff are described as polite, kind and attentive. The complaints concern value and consistency. One reviewer finds prices climbing with extras added on, and another calls it expensive. One diner says sizzling dishes arrived warm and got a noncommittal answer about food warmers. Another describes a busy Saturday night when a wrong drinks order went uncorrected and the mains took so long their family left before they arrived.

“This is a hidden gem. What you see from the window on the street is just an empty waiting area. The restaurant is upstairs. It has a nice layout and ambience, and the food is good.”

“Unfortunately everytime I am going to this restaurant I am finding the prices going up, being charged for something extra all the time. This used to be a very generous restaurant. Surprised they don’t charge you for the till receipt paper!”

“This is one of the long standing chinese restaurants in harborough and they really make delicious food. Id recommend the satay beef, the flavours are subtle and refined. I really enjoy their rice too, its always very fresh and tasty. It can be on the expensive side however its a nice treat and the flavours are different from the other chinese cuisines on offer in the town. Staff are always very polite and kind too.”

“Fantastic starters!! Having waited two hours for the mains, unfortunately we had to leave before their arrival due to our baby not settling. There is no baby change and this had to be done on the ladies toilet floor. The drinks order was taken wrong and this wasn't rectified. I think on Saturday night you had taken to many people and couldn't cope with the usual high quality service that we normally get.”
