Quick info
About Wok Inn Kettering Take Away
Wok Inn Kettering Take Away is a Chinese takeaway on Lake Avenue in Kettering, run for collection and delivery with no seating on site. The kitchen covers the familiar Chinese takeaway range, and a separate vegan-friendly menu sits alongside for those who want it. Orders are placed at the counter on a walk-in basis, and payment is cash only, with cards not accepted. Phone orders are common and the team is friendly when taking them, though delivery drivers tend to focus on the drop-off rather than answering questions about what is in the bag. Wait times can stretch at busy moments, and customers sometimes find themselves waiting up to twenty minutes for missing items to be brought out. The counter service stays on hand in the shop to sort those issues.

“Food is lovely, I just wish that they check the orders are correct before sending them out, nothing worse then receiving ur order and then you have to wait another 20 minutes for the rest of your order. Delivery drivers are miserable and never help with any questions asked.”

“I could forgive the inability to accept credit cards (come on... who uses cash...) if the food quality justified the associated hassle of payment. But it didn't. The meat was tough with lumps of gristle. The sauce was thin and lacking flavour and the chow mein looked anemic. I won't bother trying again.”

“Great chinese takeway. Excellent service, decent prices and even have a separate vegan friendly menu, with a fab selection. Highly recommend!”
