About Pong & Puck
Pong & Puck is a sports bar in Manchester's Great Northern Warehouse, at 231 233 Deansgate, set up as a gaming bar. Ping pong tables, dart boards, shuffle and beer pong are all on offer, and karaoke is available in dedicated rooms. A photo booth adds to the mix of games. The music playlist draws on the '80s, '90s and '00s. Food comes from a pizza van, and the menu includes a gluten-free pizza. The bar also serves cocktails, beers, wines and soft drinks. Bottomless brunch runs on Saturdays and Sundays. For groups, private parties can host up to 100 guests with gaming and food packages, and the team handles those bookings. The bar is open Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays.

Customer Review Summary
Bottomless brunch is the most frequent draw. Reviewers mark a 40th birthday and other celebrations there, and describe hosts who were quick, generous and checked on the table regularly. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly and welcoming, from the doorman to a bartender who sorted out drinks for beer pong. Beer pong, ping pong and darts are the games named, and several reviewers call the atmosphere brilliant, with one citing the music and a photo booth. Pizzas earn praise too, including a gluten free one called unreal and delicious ones at a birthday party. The criticism is sharper in one review: cocktails were weak, a Saturday night felt quiet, and the dart boards were not interactive, so boredom set in after an hour. Another reviewer found drinks pricey and wished the karaoke rooms were bigger. One group was given wine and prosecco on the house.

“Compared to other places in the city centre that are similar this place really lacks. No surprise it was so quiet on a Saturday night. Pizza's were nice but cocktails were really weak. Got a few ping pong tables and dart boards but not even the interactive dart boards. Was okay but got bored after an hour in there. Need to up their game!”

“Matt P... what a legend. We did a bottomless brunch for my 40th, he was attentive, dropped by the table every 10 mins checking if we needed anything. Sorted our drinks and beer pong, was just a legend in general, chatting to us and having a laugh Was so friendly and we had the best day! Side note... GF pizza was unreal! Best we've had”
