Customer Review Summary
Bottomless brunch is what most reviewers come for, and they repeatedly praise how quickly drinks are refilled and how friendly the servers are, with several describing glasses topped up the moment one was finished. Close behind, a Korean BBQ chicken wing platter with skin on fries and a burger earn praise for being crispy, well cooked and quick to arrive, and one reviewer mentions jaegerbombs. Reasonable drink prices and a parrot picture on the wall come up too. The recurring complaint is volume: several say the music got too loud on Saturday afternoons to talk, and one says a DJ refused to turn it down during a match. Brunch reviewers also report basic premixed cocktails in plastic cups without ice, a limited food choice, no prosecco, a delayed table and a bar worker described as rude. One diner was overcharged for extra nachos, and another was told the Matchday Platter was unavailable on a busy Saturday. One server stayed smiling and kept drinks topped up while very busy.

“Bottomless brunch at walkabout for a birthday. Fiona looked after us so well! Made sure our drinks were topped up and we were happy! Thank you!”

“We had an ok experience having bottomless brunch with my family, but will not be returning, drinks were basic, plastic cups, no straws, no ice, cocktails were premixed and weak and again without ice and a straw, the service was not 100% but I’ll return to that. The music was too loud for a Saturday afternoon could not talk amongst us, Not much option on the food very limited but The food was well cooked, we purchased 2 extra portions of nachos and was over charged for them then when I questioned it the waitress made me feel like it was coming out of her pocket and if caused an inconvenience to her, she was not our server, we had Evie who despite being extremely busy and overworked she managed to serve us with a smile and keep our drinks topped up. She was and probably is everyday a credit to the team. Well done Evie and thank you for being our server.”

“Came on a quiet Tuesday after finishing work. Good drinks selection. We ordered 1kg of chicken wings with Korean BBQ sauce with garnish with skin on fries which was great. Crispy chicken with the right amount of sauce and tasted like fresh chicken wings so big thanks to the Chef.”

“Booked bottomless brunch, was 10 minutes late being lead to our table, had to clean our own table. Very short staffed and had to get the waitress attention for drinks, no prosecco available. Had to get our own cutlery. Barmaid behind the bar was beyond RUDE!”

“Courtney served with an amazing smile, she is the SOLE reason me and my friend comes back here! She's always made us welcome, she's genuinely such a delight! She's always chatty, friendly, kind and most important of all she's so professional! She always makes time for me and my friend especially for the jaegarbombs! She's an amazing member of staff who does not get nearly enough credit for how amazing she is! I don't go to many bars, but her presence makes it easy to come into Walkabout! She's genuinely amazing!”
