About Paratha Royale & Grill
Paratha Royale & Grill is a restaurant in Manchester, at 2 Woodlands Rd, where parathas anchor the menu. The kitchen turns them into a Paratha Pizza and paratha sandwiches, and the parathas are made fresh, including stuffed versions and an egg paratha. Karak tea is served alongside them. The rest of the menu moves to a grill section and to mains such as Nihari and chicken karahi. Naan comes in varieties including kulcha and roghani, and a chicken pasta with white or red sauce is also on the list. Halwa puri is part of the breakfast menu.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers come mainly for the parathas, singling out the egg paratha, stuffed parathas and the paratha pizza, described as fresh, crisp outside and soft inside, with generous fillings. Close behind are the chai and halwa puri at breakfast, then the mixed grill, chicken karahi, nihari and haleem, which several call authentic and homemade in flavour. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and quick, and portions are described as generous. The complaints are specific. One diner found the creamy white sauce chicken pasta overcooked with undercooked chicken. Another pre-booked, was told there was no puri, then waited and received poorly cooked puris, a burnt naan and sour chana, with some items never served. A delivery customer received cold tea without sugar and a samosa in poor condition, and was told to collect a replacement in person. Several visitors mention the car park shared with the mosque, and one reviewer's mixed grill order came on a server's suggestion and left them satisfied on a return visit.

“Paratha Royal in Cheetham Hill is a hidden gem. The food is consistently fresh, hot, and authentic. The stuffed parathas are perfectly spiced with great texture crispy on the outside without being overly greasy. Paired with their chai and curries, it makes for the ultimate comfort meal. Friendly staff and generous portion sizes. Will definitely be returning regularly!”

“We visited Paratha Royale & Grill today and had a wonderful experience. The Chicken Boneless Karahi was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, while the Haleem was as excellent as always. The Kulcha Naan was soft, fresh, and mouthwatering. We also tried the Firni/Kheer, which was nicely chilled and very enjoyable. Karak tea was lazeez. We especially liked the air-conditioned atmosphere, which made the dining experience comfortable and pleasant. Parking was very convenient and secure. The car park is just a few steps from the restaurant entrance, making access easy and comfortable. Another great advantage is that the mosque shares the same car park, allowing customers to pray comfortably before or after their meal. Clean toilet on site. Overall, we had a very enjoyable visit and would happily recommend this restaurant to others.”

“Pre-booked, confirmed everything beforehand. On the day, they said they don’t have “Puria” we were happy to wait, after waiting another 30 mints they served not so well cooked puris , burnt Nan, sour chany, & didn’t even serve some items, with really poor service.”

“Wao amazing paratha pizza at Paratha Royale and it was really good. The crust was perfectly baked, soft inside with a light crisp on the edges, and the toppings were fresh, cheesy, and full of flavor. Every bite was satisfying and well-balanced. The staff was also very polite and helpful, and the service was quick, which made the experience even better. Overall, a great place for tasty food and good service.”
