Customer Review Summary
Lamb karahi is the dish reviewers raise most, with one calling the boneless version the standout. The BBQ platter comes close behind, praised for its smoky presentation, alongside mixed grill, lamb chops, and super size naan served piping hot. The mint margarita is called refreshing. Complaints are specific. One reviewer found the chicken biryani rice a little undercooked, another felt the fish needed better seasoning, and a diner found the malai boti portion small, with only a few pieces. One reviewer describes a dirty bathroom with no tissue. Service draws mixed accounts: most call the staff helpful, but one reviewer describes a rude waiter or manager and bland food, and another describes a long wait for a table during Iftar, slow service, and a stomach ache afterward. One birthday host describes the cake arriving on a stand with music and a smoke effect, followed by kava.

“Had a great dining experience here. The restaurant is spacious, airy, and has a beautiful open indoor layout that creates a fresh and comfortable atmosphere. The high roof design and excellent fan arrangements were especially appreciated during the heatwave, keeping the place cool and pleasant. The food was generally very good. The boneless lamb karahi was the standout dish—absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the meal. The lamb chops were also perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. The fish was acceptable, although it could have had a better taste and seasoning. A special thanks to Faisal Brother for his excellent customer service. Overall, a lovely place with great food, a comfortable environment, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended.”

“★☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing experience at Royal Manchester Restaurant. The main waiter/manager was rude and unprofessional in the way he dealt with us. We felt unwelcome and poorly attended throughout our visit. Good customer service is an important part of any dining experience, and unfortunately, it was completely lacking. To make matters worse, the food was far below expectations. The taste was bland, lacked flavor, and did not seem to meet the standard we expected. We did not enjoy a single dish, and the overall quality of the meal was disappointing. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this restaurant. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes significant improvements to both customer service and food quality.”

“Absolutely loved the food at this restaurant! The taste was truly authentic and gave the real flavour of Lahori food. Every dish was full of rich spices, fresh ingredients, and that traditional Lahori touch that reminds you of home. The Bbq, karahi, and dessert were especially delicious and had the perfect taste. If anyone is looking for genuine Lahori food, I would highly recommend this place. It truly gives the taste of Lahore.”

“I had to wait 40 mins to be seated, understand it was busy for Iftar. For £19.99, the food was horrible. The brown rice was clumped together, the chips didn’t taste fresh. The service was very slow. I have a stomach ache. Don’t reccomend!”
