  “DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. ​I spent over £50 at this branch today, and I have never been made to feel like more of a "nuisance" for simply being a paying customer. ​The Service (Or Lack Thereof) ​When I went to collect my order, the staff didn't even have the decency to look at me. I wasn't asked if I needed sauces, and when I politely requested them, the supervisor acted as if I was personally ruining her day. For a £50+ order, the bare minimum expectation is basic eye contact and the inclusion of condiments. ​ The "16-Year" Supervisor ​The level of arrogance from the shift supervisor was staggering. She went out of her way to be dismissive and cold. Interestingly, she was intentionally hiding her ID badge—clearly, she knows her service is substandard and wants to avoid accountability. When I called the store to get her details to file a formal complaint, I was told they weren't "at liberty" to give them. ​She claimed to have been working there for 16 years. If this is the level of "hospitality" she has developed over nearly two decades, she is in the wrong industry. ​Final Verdict ​There is a reason this Nando’s is sitting at a 3.8-star rating. It’s run by people who have zero respect for customers. In a cost-of-living crisis, to treat someone who is supporting your business this poorly is unacceptable. ​I will be contacting Nando’s Headquarters directly. Save your hard-earned money and go somewhere where the staff actually wants to be there. I have used Nandos all over the world, and in 2026, this is the appalling, it explains why their restaurant was empty, I'd rather travel to Leigh or Manchester than waste my time and money to be disrespected like this.”

  “Came in the evening for dinner with the family. Harriet and Toni were our servers and they could not do enough for us. They were great with the kids, helpful and friendly, and because it was quiet enough, they took the time to have conversations with us and the kids, getting the kids extras and just generally being fantastic servers. They made a visit to a restaurant that we like to visit a genuine pleasure. The food was as excellent as always, and the reason we go to Nandos, however it is service like this that brings us back to specific locations. Very happy with our visit, this evening.”

  “I will not dine at this Nandos because of overt racism. We went in this evening and waiting to be seated and no one attended to us. We edged forward to the till and still no one attended to us. The manager at the time said he was going to take some glasses to some customers. Shortly after, he seated the customers who came in after us and ignored us entirely. When he returned I asked why we had not been seated and his excuses were not coherent. To note, the couple behind us were white and we are black. It is tiresome to deal with such circumstances especially in a restaurant like Nandos.”

  “The saddest chicken liver plate I ever had. The liver was inexistent, just a brown slush with crumbles of liver. Nothing like the menu photo on the website. I can't do much spice therefore I ordered in a Peri-Tamer sweet with BBQ hint sauce. It was as HOT as anything. Fished some liver crumbles and left . Had the same plate in Manchester and it was real liver in a bowl,not a flat plate with brown slush.”

  “always go to this nandos as it is local and i have never been let down.the food is always fast and for myself has always been around the same time as who i am sat with. Service is good and i have never had a bad thing to say. the food is warm and tasty- come here quite often.”

  “Great family lunch at Nando’s Walkden. Friendly staff, quick service, and tasty food. Kid’s meal was spot on and the place was clean and relaxed. Easy, stress‑free visit.”

  “Food was perfect, as it always is! Couldn't fault it. Staff very friendly. However, we ordered at the till, but there were many parties who came in after us that were served well before us... We're thinking that's because they ordered via the QR code on the table? Either way, I'd recommend doing that just in case! Atmosphere slightly impacted by the rather large family next to us. The kids were eating MacDonalds while parents were waiting for nando's. Seemed odd, not sure why the staff didn't notify them that they couldn't do that.”

  “Really friendly staff. Had a voucher that we needed to use at the till and they were more than happy to help with this. Food was genuinely really nice everything was so hot. Service was great, we was offered sauces only thing I’d say is the waiters/ waitresses weren’t very attentive when it came to drinks. In other Nandos I’ve been to since lockdown if they notice your glass is empty they’d offer to fill it for you without having to ask as it can be a bit awkward asking. Overall though a very good experience. Will definitely be my go to Nandos from now on.”
