  “Was expecting big things on the back of Brewski.. great atmosphere, couldn’t fault the service..I was taken aback by the charge for sauce and think one included with your meal should be apt. If you want more - then fair enough charge extra. We opted for two different deep pies over the Detroit, a side of salad & house fries. More than enough to leave us for to burst (and that was leaving the crusts) 10% discretionary service charge added & a charity donation added.”

  “Visited American Pies last Wednesday and I blown away by the whole experience. Great food, particularly the Brisket Garlic Bomb and Chicago Deep Dish pizza. The cheese was very tasty. Additionally , all the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Vinny specifically stood out, his knowledge in food and local culture was really interesting. I will be back soon .”

  “Amazing detroit style pizzas, I had the garlic bombe and that was enough for two meals! Worth the money, stunning mozarella sticks, we came on a Sunday so a limited menu but amazing regardless. Quick service, attentive staff.”

  “45 minute wait for food, 2 different drinks we tried to order weren’t available. Food was hot and really tasty when it arrived but nothing that I’d rush back for. Pizza’s were actually quite small for the price of them. Huge tater tots portion though and the starter selection was amazing. Gives a Frankie and bennys vibe but more expensive. Probably wouldn’t return. Staff were friendly and mostly efficient although service was quite slow. It wasn’t so overly busy that this was justified either. Good cocktail menu.”

  “Its okay, the starter nduja honey was very nice. However the bolognese garlic bomb lacked garlic? Cheese in the center wasn't entirely melted and the dough felt more like a pie base. But it wasn't disgusting or anything, just not what i expected”

  “🍕 I saw all the reviews and decided to try the Deep Chicago Pizza. To keep it simple, I ordered the Margherita since it's usually the safest choice just cheese, sauce, and bread. Honestly, it was okay, but not nearly as impressive as it looks in the photos. 😕 The bread was good and had a nice texture, but the cheese quality didn't quite match the premium vibe the place gives off. Overall, it tasted decent, but the experience didn't live up to the expectations created by the pictures and hype. Worth trying once if you're curious, but I probably wouldn't go back specifically for it.”

  “Wow, just wow! Potentially the best pizzas we've ever eaten! My fiance got the pepperoni Chicago deep pan style and I went for the veggie Detroit style pizza! Absolutely delicious! Full of toppings, didn't scrimp on my veg at all! Fluffy pizzas, huge and plentiful for the price. Staff were so friendly and I love the decor. Highly recommend!”

  “We had a good experience at American Pies. The service team was good and prompt, and the theme of the place was great. The Crispy Coated Fried Chicken Thighs were a standout, definitely one of our favorites and highly recommended. We also tried the Pepperoni Deep Dish Pizza with Hot Honey. It was decent, though as my first time trying deep dish, it wasn't something I enjoyed as much as I expected. Overall, it was a nice visit.”

  “The food was really nice, shared a detroit pizza, a deep pan pizza, the beef rib burrito and some tater tots! Food was absolutely beautiful, piping hot and enjoyed by all of us! The service however let it down, the host seemed rather put out by hosting, we didn't get much of a welcoming feel, we had 1 child, a toddler and a baby with us so maybe that inconvenienced them slightly (but it was mothers day) We are always happy to pay 10% service charge, even when it wasnt the best because we both used to work in the service industry, we thought however it to be bold to add service automatically and then add a suggested tip on the online payment system- its quite difficult to find an option to not pay a tip (again we had already had the 10% service applied) you can have this removed but you have to speak to a staff member to have it manually removed) All in all the food was outstanding but the experience overall wouldn't warrant a return for us”
