The atmosphere was so warm, welcoming, and friendly, and I’m especially thrilled with my transformation by Dawid. ☺️ Dawid was incredibly helpful, professional, and kind throughout the whole appointment. For a few years, I had always worn a cool blonde because I was too afraid to try anything different. Thanks to his professional consultation and expert advice, he convinced me to go for a beautiful golden blonde shade and I couldn’t be happier with the result! The change I had always been afraid of turned out to be the best decision I could have made. Thanks to Dawid’s professionalism and the trust he inspired, I now have the most beautiful hair I’ve ever had. I wholeheartedly recommend both the salon and Dawid. ☺️”

  “I came to Melissa feeling completely fed up with my hair. I was stuck in that awkward growing out stage after many disappointing haircuts and I didn’t even know what I wanted - I just knew it wasn’t the horrid mushroom cut I had. Melissa dedicated the whole appointment to me, looking at how my hair naturally behaves, the bits that drive me mental, and making sure the cut would actually work for me day to day, not just look good for five minutes when I left the salon. She also spent loads of time showing me how to style it myself, both straight and curly. Usually I leave a salon with lovely hair and absolutely no clue how to recreate it at home. The whole experience felt so personal and thoughtful. Melissa’s talent and skills are obvious and undeniable if you look are her work, but she's also just a genuinely lovely person who makes you feel completely comfortable. I’m really glad I booked. I feel like I’ve found my long time hairdresser!”

  “I booked an appointment at Melissa Timperley Salon expecting a premium, "cutting-edge" experience, but I left incredibly disappointed. I asked for a side-sweeping fringe, but instead of a blended, finished look, the stylist left two random, long chunks of hair completely disconnected from the rest of the cut. When I questioned it, I was simply told I needed to "grow them out"—which completely defeats the purpose of getting a fringe styled in the first place. It looked so obviously wrong and incomplete that I ended up having to take scissors to it myself at home just to make it blend into a proper side-sweep. When you pay over £100 for a haircut, you expect high-end styling and a finished look, not a DIY project for when you get home. Flashy marketing, but a really poor execution. I won't be returning.”

  “I had my hair done recently by Adam, and I could not be happier!! He has literally transformed my hair, I feel so much more me, he turned my vision pics into a reality. He literally got it SPOT ON. Could not recommend Adam and this salon in general enough. Such great people, felt so well looked after. Definitely going back.”

  “Fantastic hair salon with lovely staff who listen to you and work with your preferences to create beautiful hair. I also received really helpful advice about some of my hair concerns about vitamins etc which I pursued and have been game changing (over several months - no quick fake fixes!) so the take home advice is on point too. I had been somewhere else for a couple of years but decided to go back to Melissa Timperley and so glad I saw Ellie and she was absolutely wonderful. Really friendly and thoughtful and she made my hair look the best it has in at least three years. Thank you Ellie!! Cannot recommend them enough.”

  “Joe did a great job on helping to correct a bad cut I had at another salon. The consultation was thorough and helped me to understand how best to grow my hair out into the style and shape I've been trying to get for a while. The salon is a lovely environment and it's nice not to have bright lights in your eyes during the hair wash. Joe even gave me some product samples to take for my partner. Excellent service. Highly recommend.”

  “Thank you! I have never had a positive experience having my hair done but I walked out smiling feeling amazing! Everyone has commented and loves my new hair, the curl definition and the cut. To have Joe take time, listen to me but ultimately fully understand thick natural curly hair was a blessing!”

  “Ella has been amazing in her advice on managing my medium/short length curly (type 2c/3a?) hair (male). Ive had 2 appointments now, one when growing it out (where it was just lightly trimmed and advice given... not eager to just chop away and was honest about what it needed to achieve the style I wanted), and the 2nd appointment where I had no idea what I wanted/needed next, but simply had to explain the areas I had trouble managing and she confidently knew exactly what to do, and gave a perfect cut. Id recommend Ella and the salon to anyone. All the staff seem really friendly and welcoming from the moment of arrival too.”

  “I was at the Melissa Timperley salon for seven hours yesterday. The team there are great, really friendly and very supportive. At every point of my hair transformation journey I was consulted and felt very much part of all the decision-making. The atmosphere in the salon is really warm and welcoming, a nice place to spend the day. Special thanks to Ellie who did such a great job on my hair, I’m looking forward to the next session that we have together.”
