Slug & Lettuce - Albert Square Manchester is a cocktail bar in Manchester at 11-12 Albert Square. The bottomless brunch comes in a themed "Diva Brunch" version, and brunch is booked for a set time slot. Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often return to the bottomless brunch, praising food that arrived quickly, drinks that kept flowing and a good-value afternoon, with the afternoon tea also described as filling and tasty for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Close behind is the table service, with several singling out servers who were friendly, attentive and accommodating on a busy day, including one who guided a table through the cocktail options. The summer menu earns praise for shareable small plates like chicken skewers, cauliflower bites and tater tots, plus strawberry daiquiri and espresso martini sundaes. Complaints are fewer but specific. One reviewer found a medium rare steak so overcooked it could not be cut with the knife provided, found tandoori skewers cold, and felt the meal was expensive and left them hungry, with no staff check back. Another noted the Diva Brunch started about fifteen minutes late and played mostly boy band music rather than divas. One birthday table finished with a free tequila rose.

He was so friendly, attentive and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were having a great time. Nothing was too much trouble, and he had such a lovely, positive attitude throughout. He really made our visit and is a credit to the team. You can tell when someone genuinely cares about giving customers a great experience — and Tom absolutely does! Give this man a pay rise! 😂👏 Thanks so much, Tom, for making our day even better! ⭐️”

“Food wasnt great. Ordered a medium rare steak and it came so well I done i couldn't cut it with the normal knife I was provided! £21 for a steak you'd at least expect a steak knife. Husbands food was cold. He got the tandoori Skewers. Guiness was good! Prosecco was okay. No check back to inform staff about the food being sub par. Another table outside did complain about their food before we got ours but after we had paid and was told the chef had gone home and if he had been there the food would of been really good. They got free drinks. £50 of food & drink and we left hungry. Very expensive for what you get. Wouldn't return.”

“We headed down to try the new Summer menu - we got five small plates which included the chicken skewers, cauliflower bites and the tater tots. It was fab as we were able to share and had plenty of picky bits! We also tried their new sundaes - the strawberry daiquiri one and the espresso martini - both delicious! A big thank you to Casey for being so lovely and for looking after us! 👏🏻”
