About Cafe Riverside
Cafe Riverside is a cafe on Stannybrook Rd in Manchester, set inside the Daisy Nook garden centre, which gives garden centre visitors a place to stop for food and drink on site. The kitchen serves a Full English as an all day breakfast, and a spam and egg muffin is also on the menu. A cake and coffee deal pairs the two, and cappuccinos and brews are served alongside. Dogs are welcome. The cafe opens daily and keeps daytime hours only.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is what most reviewers come for, with the all day breakfast and a full English described as fresh and decent, though not huge. Close behind are the cakes and coffee, where a cake and coffee deal is called perfect and the cakes are called delicious. Reviewers also mention a spam and egg muffin that the team offered to adapt, and a kids' pizza that was not homemade but good value. Several describe the staff as lovely and helpful, and the outdoor seating by the stream gets praise as a spot for coffee and cake in the garden centre.

“Just noticed my bank statement and feel decidedly ripped off after using chip & pin and not paying attention at the till. Almost £18 for two cakes & two under average cappuccinos cannot be right. The garden centre cafe on the Snipe is much nicer.”

“Was a regular when lived in Ashton, moved away 2 years ago. Decided to call for breakfast after visiting for band contest. Obviously new ownership and initial impression good with a decor freshen up and improved seating. However, the food was way down in value and quality. Paying nearly £30 for 2 breakfasts with 2 cups of coffee would have expected far better. The sausages were dreadful ,budget cash and carry and tasteless, the bacon was abslouely cremated and was dry and again tasteless. There was a surfeit of beans which i presume was to give an impressiom of a big breakfast.”

“Decided to try again due after having a day out at Daisy Nook, first time food and service wasnt the best, second time wouldn't even do us a brew despite at 4 o'clock despite opening hours saying until 4.30. Customer service poor.”
