  “As you first go in it looks very grotty. Staff were pleasant and food came quickly. Food however was terrible. Chicken chow mein was the worst I’ve ever had and smelt like a public toilet and everything was overdone and was 60% veg! Chips were okay very crispy. Egg fried rice was okay. Sweet and sour Chinese balls I spat out after a bit as were not cooked in the middle.. would rate zero if possible”

  “Great local take away - tried for the first time tonight, salt and pepper items are great, £20 for two people and 4 dishes and believe we got free prawn crackers Will be ordering again”

  “Always go out there way to make sure dishes or order has been right or if asked for different done best to make able on a regular basis cant knock the food or service has always come warm without a super wait. 😋”

  “First time ordering here and wont be the last , in fact its our new takeaway from now. Delivery to westow which is a bonus, food really tasty, piping hot , full of flavour and not too salty like most takeaways. Highly recommend 👌”

  “Ordered ribs, and chips with curry sauce. Ribs were very poor, mostly bone and gristle. What meat was on them was dry and chewy. Chips were poor for Chinese chips…. Curry sauce nothing special. Free prawn crackers were stale. Hoped for better but never again I’m afraid.”

  “Called here while staying in Malton, we googled it and the reviews were good so decided to call, although we were staying in a hotel,food couldn't be taken back so asked the lovely lady behind the counter if we could have our food open to eat as we walked back, we ordered Duck in bbq sauce, chips and fried rice. The containers the came out in were filled to the brim so couldn't argue with the portion size, the duck was in chunks rather than Shredded and was cooked beautifully as were the chips and fried rice, we enjoyed it that much we went again the following night for more. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area”

  “Popped in on a quiet Sunday evening on the way back from visiting friends away and tried Connie’s on the off chance of a takeaway, 2 chicken chow meins and a curry sauce, £18.50 and a small bag of prawn crackers as a surprise when we got home was lovely. Food was hot and fresh and very tasty, veg in chow mien was a different experience having had different versions from Chinese takeaways elsewhere but no worse for it. Always worth a try and will go back again.”

  “Had a meal from here tonight with my partner, it was awful. I ordered what I would usually have from normal Chinese and it was a lot more expensive. Most of it was luke warm nearly cold. Didn’t taste very nice. After trying them when they first opened a few times it was lovely and decided to try them again tonight for a change and won’t be doing so again. Chucked the whole lot back in the bag and in the dustbin.”

  “Had good reviews in Facebook so gave it a try. Bit of a delay in collection but it was busy. The food was really nice except I would say the OK sauce, albeit nice wasn't the OK sauce I usually receive. The set menu for 2 for £22 is also extremely reasonable. I would definitely return.”
