  “I’ve found myself visiting a lot of Lounges lately, and last weekend I decided to challenge myself to visit four lounges in one day to get more stickers for my Lounge Passport as I headed into Cheshire East, and my first stop for the day was to grab some food at Panadero Lounge, it’s located on the main high street of Macclesfield, just across the way from the shopping centre, with lots of cheap parking options nearby. I really liked the interior of this Lounge, it was large, comfortable and spacious. I felt relaxed and able to space out enough, even on a busy Saturday. The staff were friendly, although I do feel service could have been slightly more attentive. I noticed my food was waiting for at least two minutes on the stand, and there were times when food was piling up, too. I believe they were just understaffed and could have done with more help, as they appeared to be trying their best. There also wasn’t a check back during my meal to check if everything was OK. I went for the Gluten-Free Louisiana Chicken, which is one of my favourite dishes at Loungers. There’s always so much choice for me as a coeliac with their extensive gluten-free menu, ranging from brunch to chicken, from burgers to tapas, and even fried chicken! The prices were reasonable for a town centre too. My food was tasty, and I enjoyed it, though the portion size of the fries was a little light, and one piece of chicken was chewy. Apart from that, everything tasted good, had nice flavours, and the coleslaw was super refreshing! I had a good time here, lots of positives for sure, and would return on future trips to Macclesfield.”

  “Older staff member behind the bar seemed more pressured to meet tracked goals rather than getting orders correct. Saw them encouraging the younger staff members to take photos of the order screen before marking all as completed in the system. Whether this then led to our coffee being delayed we cant say but 30 minutes and two questions to waiting staff about where the drink was later we finally got the hottest cappuccino I think ever served with no apology.”

  “Panadero lounge has always been our go to as a family since it opened for breakfast , lunch and dinner. We arranged an 18th family meal midweek with 27 family members including children. All members of staff were involved in the pre order and communicated at a moments notice. Nothing was to much trouble - and changes on the night were resolved quickly. Food and drinks were excellent and in good time. Manager and all staff polite and accommodating - they even arranged balloons for my daughter’s 18th birthday. Excellent atmosphere - and spoke to the chef at the end of our meal to thank him. We will return without a doubt - very soon”

  “Big menu choice and plenty of deals. Friendly and helpful staff and super-quick service whether by QR Code or at the bar. Pleasant, clean and comfortable surroundings with tables in and out, pretty much indiscernible from the other branches but that’s not a bad thing.”
