  “Our family of 4 adults and 1 child came as we passed through Pakefield and Lowestoft. Really happy we came and ate here. The food was so lovely! We had a variety of dishes and all of them have flavour, spice and everything inbetween. I highly recommend the creamy chicken korma, the saag aloo, madras and all the naans! Coconut rice was one of the best we’ve ever had and we’ve eaten in many Indian restaurants. Go, enjoy the food and the atmosphere. The service was so attentive and they were incredibly generous with portion sizes and little extra touches. Popular with the locals as well which is always a tell. Go! You won’t regret it.”

  “Amazing food and service. We didn’t book on a Saturday but only had to wait 10 minutes. There was a welcome drink and a free platter that had the most delicious chicken on it. All of the curries were fantastic as well.”

  “We come down here once a year from stoke, to race at ellough park. But I would jump in the car and drive the 4 hours just for the food here! Fantastic food, great service. Made very welcome. I highly recommend a visit!!!”

  “There is nothing bad about this place. The food is excellent, the service is excellent (they really cannot do enough for you) and the atmosphere is amazing. Honestly one of the best restaurants I've been to. It's such fun, and you NEVER leave hungry!”

  “We were going to go up the coast to Gorleston or Yarmouth for dinner but glad we made the decision to give the Lowestoft Tandoori a try. Just walking through the door for the first time we felt comfortable, a lovely welcome by really genuine staff. Our experience just got better. I’ve had a few curries in my time however this one combined with the service was fantastic. It’s an hour and a half from home and we will be back!!! Thanks Mrs Mayor we had a lovely meal and a great chat. 6 🌟s X Mr Mayor”

  “While visiting the area with my boyfriend and his parents, we went to Lowestoft Tandoori and it was, without a doubt, the best Indian food we’ve ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly and generous, treating us to complimentary entrees, mains, desserts and drinks throughout the night, and even giving us hugs goodbye when we left. A truly memorable meal and experience. Everything was absolutely delicious and we can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in England!”

  “WOW!!!! 🤩Just had an Amazing Takeaway.😋 Food was full of flavor. Nice and piping hot when it arrived. Me and the family had a feast. The starters was fabulous along with the poppadoms and chutneys. The Lamb shank was so tender and full of flavor. King Prawn and Chicken dishes was fantastic. The nans were so fresh and tasty. We are staying in a caravan site in lowestoft. So we ordered a delivery. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Definitely worth trying and the price were very decent. The portions were big. Definitely will be back. A Big Thank you to Lowestoft Tandoori.❤️🙏🤩”

  “We ordered for delivery the tomahawk steak for two, which came with chips, two sauces, salad, and mixed vegetables. The steak was incredibly tender, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection, paired with really tasty chips. On top of that, they threw in extras like onion bhajis, potatoes, coconut rice, and additional sauces, which was a great touch. Fantastic value for money—easily the best Indian restaurant around.”

  “This is one of the best indian restaurants i have been too for a long time. The service was friendly and many extras came to the table. Real tasty food. Price a little high for the area, but it was still worth it. Parking is a little tricky tho as side of road. To my followers, I would give this Restaurant a try. Special once a month treat for me.”

  “Absolutely delicious meal, great atmosphere and exceptional service! Lots of veggie options (would recommend the vegetable supreme!), and a great varied menu. All the team were very welcoming and made you feel like their favourite customer. Perfect!”
