Customer Review Summary
Sea views are what reviewers raise most, from the outdoor seating and the tables inside to a stop on a clifftop walk, and one notes a buzzing afternoon crowd. Food comes close behind. Diners single out a succulent two-patty beef burger with chips cooked to perfection, fish and chips at a Friday lunch, and a breakfast one reviewer calls the best they have had in the UK with a view across the sea. A newly gluten free diner was handed their own menu with plenty of options, while another finds the menu slightly limited but well chosen. The beer gets praise, including the non-alcoholic versions a group on motorcycles drank. The one clear complaint is a breakfast of eggs and avocado on toast that arrived looking sad, with toast so hard it was difficult to cut or bite, which left that reviewer unwilling to return. Staff are called friendly, and a party of 16 who forgot to book before a family memorial meal were seated together.

“Nice beer, clifftop(ish) location with great views out to sea. Lots of customers gave it a buzzing atmosphere, even in the afternoon. Service was still really good though. Lovely stop off pub on a clifftop walk”

“What a wonderful friendly accommodating little pub, we had arranged to meet at the pub to eat before scattering our baby sisters ashes. For some unknown reason we totally forgot to book a table, & there was 16 of us!!! The staff were fantastic, they managed to sit us all together & the food was absolutely amazing!!! Thank you for making our special evening perfect!”
