Customer Review Summary
Reviewers split on the kitchen, but the sharing platter draws the warmest praise, with succulent chicken satay and fish cakes that have a hint of ginger. Close behind are the prawn summer rolls, prawn pad thai and duck red curry, called delicious or superb. The mango sticky rice earns praise for its coconut sauce, though one reviewer wanted riper mango. Diners also describe an airy, calming, pretty room, lovely staff, and a birthday lunch arranged from a set menu for a large group with dietary requirements. The recurring complaint is small portions for the price, from tiny pork dumplings to a soup with few prawns and a thin, over-fried pork and prawn toast. Others found dishes dry or bland, including satay, bao buns and a chili lime fish with no spice. One takeaway diner found the green curry watery and was charged extra for rice after walking home without it.

“I honestly can't believe how disappointing this meal was. The chicken satay was incredibly dry, the bao buns were so dry that chewing the duck was a struggle, and somehow even the pork mince was completely dried out—which I genuinely didn't think was possible. Every dish felt overcooked and lacking in flavour. Considering the prices, I expected something far better. Instead, I left feeling like I'd wasted my money on some of the worst food I've had in a long time. Completely overpriced and a huge disappointment. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.”

“This place is an absolute delight. The food is wonderful and the service excellent. We’ve eaten here many times, never once having a less than excellent experience. It’s also great value. Last night nine of us went along for a celebratory meal, and everyone thought it was a perfect choice. Totally recommend!”

“My husband and I love Thai food. We like to joke that we no matter what Thai restaurant we choose, we are never disappointed. Unfortunately our streak ends today. We ordered take out directly from the restaurant. The pictures of the pork dumplings on the online menu were extremely misleading. They are TINY! £8 for only four bite size pieces is a disgraceful rip off. And the green curry was more like a soup broth than a thick, smooth curry, with a very thin watery consistency. Such a massive let down on a dish that is normally my favorite. They also didn’t give us rice with the green curry…that is unheard of in all of our many years of going to Thai restaurants. We didn’t realize they didn’t give us rice until we walked the 15 mins back home. We can’t eat green curry without rice so we had to go back. They made us pay £4 for something that should come with the meal itself. Rice should not be an extra cost when ordering a curry dish that you can’t even EAT WITHOUT RICE. This is simply shameful.”

“Didn't rate the food, very small portions with high price tags, their mixed starter tasted like it was cooked fr frozen, the pork and prawns on toast hardly had anything on it, very thin and deep fried for too long, soup only had 4 pieces of prawns in it, was quite salty too. Salad was just ok.”

“First time here tonight. First class food. I had prawn summer rolls & prawn pad thai- both delicious! Partner had duck red curry & prawn Thai style rice (ordered by mistake) both superb. (I picked at them too!!).. Will definitely come again. Prices average £62 for all, we drank tap water)..”
