  “We had a fantastic lunch at Sushi Bar Makoto and it exceeded our expectations. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared and the portions were incredibly generous, making it excellent value for money. I ordered the salmon teriyaki bento box, which was one of the most generous bento boxes I’ve had. Alongside the perfectly cooked salmon teriyaki, it included maki, tempura, salmon and tuna sashimi, nigiri and a chicken gyoza. Every element was prepared with care, and it was a great way to enjoy such a variety of dishes in one meal. We also ordered the shrimp tempura and the chicken katsu curry. The tempura was outstanding – wonderfully light and crisp without a trace of greasiness while the katsu curry was rich, comforting and full of flavour. The chicken gyoza had a perfectly crispy exterior with a delicious, juicy filling. The service was warm and welcoming, and the whole experience felt relaxed and authentic. If you’re looking for excellent Japanese food in Chiswick with generous portions and great value, Sushi Bar Makoto is an easy recommendation. We’ll definitely be back.”

The set comes with rice, miso soup, and a side salad, making it the perfect, high-quality meal that feels like a real treat without the massive price tag.   “As a person eating sushi on a weekly basis back at home I can’t be more glad to have Sushi Bar Makoto on my doorstep in the neighbourhood. We are regulars here for both lunch and dinner and this is and will be perpetually our go-to Japanese restaurant for our sushi and sashimi fix. One should really not miss out on their amazing lunch deals particularly sushi and sashimi lunch sets which are around £17. The quality of its sashimi and sushi never disappoint. Booking in advance is always recommended as it’s a small and busy restaurant you’ll need luck to be able to get a table walking in.”
