About Wright Brothers Battersea Power Station
Wright Brothers Battersea Power Station is a fish and seafood restaurant in London, set in the new Battersea Power Station development. Its terrace overlooks the river and the Power Station, and inside the room has marble tables and bespoke leather banquette seating. The kitchen is open, so diners can watch the chefs, and a Josper charcoal oven cooks both meat and seafood. Oysters are a focus, with Gillardeau among them, served with Tabasco, shallot vinegar and lemon juice. An oyster evening runs as a happy hour, and Muscadet is paired with them. Fish pie sits on the menu, and a two-course set menu lists Brixham Whitey among the mains. The bar pours seasonal cocktails, seafood friendly wines and beers. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers come for the happy hour oysters, with diners sharing a dozen or more at a time alongside a crisp Muscadet, and one singling out the Gillardeau. Close behind are the cooked dishes: the Brixham Whitey on crushed potatoes and peas, tender octopus with pine nuts, fish pie, shrimp burger, and roasted scallops with half a lobster. The Bloody Marys also draw praise, and several describe attentive, friendly service and a lovely evening on the terrace by the Thames. The complaints are specific. One reviewer ordered 25 oysters and received 12, blamed on an order entry mistake, then watched a waiter try to clear the table with oysters left and waited for the bill. That reviewer was also told terrace tables were reserved while several sat empty. Another reports that the person greeting guests spoke rudely to a family over a pram and called the mother a liar, so they left. A third notes the oysters come only with Tabasco, shallot vinegar and lemon. One diner was glad to have booked ahead. A birthday couple recall the chef bringing a sauce to the table and a chocolate truffle surprise.

“I had pre-ordered a lobster for my wife's birthday, but I hadn't realised that we would both be treated like royalty during our dining experience. We were very well looked after last night, from being shown to the best seats in the house (after a short wait in the bar), through being thoroughly looked after by Karol during our three courses, but especially Chef Ivan. He even came to our table for my wife to taste a sauce he had made for her. We felt exceptionally well looked after and the food itself was to die for. We had the roasted scallops, half a lobster (with special sauce), the fish pie and the pistachio cheescake and an Eton mess dessert. They also supplied a birthday chocolate truffle surprise, which was the cherry on the cake. This was all washed down with a lovely French Grenache. We also met a lovely fellow diner called Mikey (good to chat Mikey). Thank you all so much for last night. My wife and I were totally blow away with your hospitality. I would thoroughly recommend and we shall be back soon.”

“You deserve far better than having someone like the member of staff who served us today representing your restaurant. My family and I have been visiting Wright Brothers for many years. We have celebrated birthdays with you and have always enjoyed the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Not long ago, when we stayed at Art'otel London Battersea Power Station the night before a close friend's wedding, we chose to have dinner with you because we knew we would receive excellent food and friendly service. Until today, every visit had been a pleasure. Unfortunately, our experience on 23 July 2026 at around 12:00 pm completely changed that. As usual, we arrived with a pram. On previous visits, due to the limited space inside the restaurant, members of your staff had asked us to leave it outside. Following that practice, we parked it neatly beside one of the planters, well out of anyone's way. As we approached the entrance, the lady responsible for greeting guests spoke to us in a very rude manner, telling us to move the pram because it was near a table and might inconvenience someone if they decided to sit there. At the time, the terrace was empty, with plenty of tables available. Moving the pram itself was never the issue—we were more than happy to do so. What upset us was the unnecessarily rude and dismissive way she spoke to us, especially when we had only done what your staff had previously asked us to do. While my friend moved the pram, I went inside with our three children. As I was organising our belongings by the entrance, I briefly turned my back. When I looked around, I saw my young son reaching towards the bottle of hand sanitiser placed on the table by the entrance. Instead of simply speaking to him or addressing me, this member of staff abruptly thrust her hand between my son and the bottle in a very aggressive manner to stop him touching it. My son froze. He was visibly startled. I am quite certain she did not realise that I was watching the entire interaction. I immediately told her there was no need to behave like that towards a child. If she had any concern about him touching the sanitiser, she should have spoken to me rather than treating a small child so harshly. Her explanation was that she did not want the sanitiser to be touched because it might spill onto the table. However, if the bottle is placed on a table at the entrance within easy reach of every customer, it is clearly there to be used. If customers are not supposed to touch it because it might spill, then why is it placed there in the first place? The issue was never the sanitiser. It was the way she chose to treat a child when she believed his mother was not looking. My friend asked to speak to the manager, and I explained exactly what had happened. Shockingly, this member of staff then called me a liar in front of him. The manager apologised, said he would speak to her, and invited us to sit on the terrace. However, after everything that had happened, we no longer felt comfortable staying and decided to leave instead. As we were walking away, the member of staff could be heard forcing a false laugh in what felt like a childish attempt to provoke us further. That was the final straw. It is deeply disappointing because your restaurant has always been somewhere we genuinely enjoyed visiting. Whether this member of staff simply dislikes children or was unhappy that our arrival meant the start of more work while the restaurant was quiet, her behaviour was completely unacceptable and fell far below the standard we have always associated with Wright Brothers. Unfortunately, we never obtained her name, but given the date and time of our visit, I am sure you will be able to identify who was working on the door around midday on 23 July. I sincerely hope you will investigate this matter. We would love to continue visiting your restaurant in the future, but not while this individual is representing your business in this way. If this matter is properly addressed, I would be more than happy to remove my review. I have attached a few photos of our previou vis.”

“Jessica was amazing! So hospitable and welcoming for the pound a pop oyster! She made our experience incredible!! Will definitely be coming back! Service was SO FAST for our 2 servings of two dozen oysters and tasted incredible with a range of lemon, green and red tabasco, and california hogwash which was amazing! There is a new menu deal for 40gbp wine bottle of Muscadet instead of 49gbp if purchasing 12 oysters in pound a pop oysters!”

“Love this place! Thank god we booked ahead and I definitely recommend booking the pound an oyster hour which we went to the Sunday 6pm-9pm, plenty of time to get moreish However, you can’t get the oysters dressed even if you offered to pay extra more, it won’t be an option to add more dressing besides your normal Tabasco, shallot vinegar and lemon juice but otherwise can’t complain about £1 an oyster is a bargain! We’ve ordered fish pie and shrimp burger which were both delicious, but I think we should’ve ordered differently. Seafood platter, sharing dishes would’ve been a better option next time! Overall, the experience to have food here was amazing, great view and atmosphere. Definitely recommended!! 10/10”

“Walked past this place many times, but today after a busy Sunday shopping we spotted a free table on the edge of the promenade. Whilst far from the cheapest pint in London, but the location next to the Thames by the fountain is perfect for watching the diverse bunch of locals and tourists walk by. Jake behind the bar, and Jessica on table service both went above and beyond to accommodate us, hence the 5 star review. Definitely coming back to try the £1 a pop oyster evenings.”
