About SUSHISAMBA London
SUSHISAMBA London is a Japanese and South American fusion restaurant in London at Heron Tower, reached by a private express elevator that runs from the ground floor to the 39th floor. At the top, a terrace bar looks out over London, so guests can take drinks with the view. The menu goes beyond sushi to cooked fish and steaks, and it names skewers, miso aubergine and fatty tuna sashimi among its dishes. A premium set menu runs alongside the à la carte list. The space is divided into a main dining area, a sushi bar and a side bar and lounge for drinks and light bites, all beneath a glass atrium. The drinks list includes a large sake selection and a tequila selection, with a sommelier on staff. The restaurant is open daily.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the views from the 39th floor, describing the fast lift ride up, a terrace and side bar for drinks, and sunset outlooks over the city that suit birthdays, a hen party and other celebrations. The food comes close behind. Diners name the Toro with black truffle, the Mushroom Tobanyaki, the rock shrimp, the miso aubergine, the generous skewers, the samba rolls and the marbled fatty tuna sashimi, and one praises the large sake selection and the tequila list. Staff draw repeated praise as friendly and attentive, with several waiters and a sommelier described as going above and beyond. The main reservation comes from one reviewer who chose the Premium Menu and found the food a little disappointing for what they expected, so they suggest ordering à la carte instead. Another felt they missed a trick by not trying more sushi dishes. One first-time visitor recalls a waitress who took the time to explain the menu and recommended her favourites.

The food was excellent — everything was fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented. The service was also fantastic, and Laura deserves a special mention for being so warm, friendly and attentive. “I had a wonderful experience at SUSHISAMBA London with my daughter, and honestly, everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until we left. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Chiara, our waitress, who was lovely and made us feel very well looked after. I was also very happy to see that they offer a kids’ menu, which made it a great choice for dining with my daughter. The food was absolutely amazing — delicious, beautifully presented, and with generous portions. Considering the central London location and the overall quality of the experience, I found the prices very reasonable and good value. I also loved the different spaces SUSHISAMBA offers: the main dining area, the sushi bar, and the side bar, which is perfect for sitting down for a drink after your meal and simply enjoying the atmosphere. And the view… absolutely stunning! One of the best views in London, and especially perfect for a special occasion. For me, it’s a 10/10 for the food, service, atmosphere, and view. I would definitely come back and highly recommend SUSHISAMBA for a special meal in London! ❤️ thank you chiara ♥️”

“We had a lovely experience. All the staff were lovely and attentive. Especially our waitress Anna who went above and beyond. And to our Sommelier Polly, who was helpful, knowledge and a pleasure to speak with. I hope to return on our next Visit to London! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. My favourites were the rock shrimp and seabsss. Would definitely recommend!!”

“Always an amazing experience! From the time you arrive at the tower, the staff on the ground floor are polite and the entire process is streamlined and efficient. The elevator ride to the 39th floor is quick with great views. I’ve yet to have any menu items that were prepared to perfection. The menu isn’t overly complicated, so it makes choosing items easier. It’s important to not they also have cooked fish and steaks, so it’s not exclusively sushi. The staff is full of great suggestions, so don’t hesitate to ask. They also have a lounge area for drinks and light bites and a beautiful terrace. This is a regular dining spot for us and we look forward to our next visit.”
