Quick info
About Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High
Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High is a French haute cuisine restaurant in London, on the 60th floor of 22 Bishopsgate. The dining room is a Chef's Table with 12 seats, where guests share one long table and sit in swivel chairs facing the chefs, so the cooking is part of the meal. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out over London. The format is a tasting menu only, created by the chefs. Each chef presents a dish, and the team describes every plate as it arrives. Champagne is offered on arrival, and the drinks side offers a wine tasting, a cocktail tasting, or a 50/50 pairing of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The restaurant opens evenings only, Tuesday to Saturday, and is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Each booking runs a two-hour timeslot, and the dress code asks for no trainers.

Customer Review Summary
The view from the 60th floor leads the praise, with floor to ceiling windows over London, the Tower of London and the bridge, described as breathtaking and enjoyable as daylight turns to night. Close behind is the tasting menu at a 12 seat chef's table. Reviewers single out the duck bao, black cod, lobster tail, foie gras, the caviar pairings and the lamb course, and one names a strawberry dessert. Service earns repeated credit as attentive and lovely, with one host in particular praised for warmth. The criticisms are specific. One diner found grit in a scallop and a beef course with tough sections served at a low temperature, and noted that the smoked final dessert left chocolate sticking to the fingers. Another describes an unwelcoming reception, no greeting at the table, having to ask for champagne, and condensation blurring the windows. Others mention a restroom shared with the neighboring Lucky Cat, elevator noise, and a fixed timeslot that meant missing the Lucky Cat dessert. Diners also describe chefs each presenting a dish to the table.

“Probably the best Michelin meal I’ve had in London. Nothing was too greasy or overpowering; every course was full of flavour, beautifully balanced, and the textures were spectacular. Usually these once-in-a-lifetime meals are just that: once. This one I know I’ll be back for. With just 12 seats, we all felt like we were sharing one long table for the evening. I loved that each chef got to present a dish, you could really feel the shared pride and teamwork in the kitchen. It’s rare to see that kind of camaraderie on display rather than hidden behind the pass. The service was outstanding throughout, and 👉🏻Tom in particular made the evening; warm, attentive, and clearly proud of what the team was doing. The whole atmosphere felt genuinely harmonious, right down to that view over London 60 floors up.”

“Me and my partner enjoyed the food, the duck Bao and the black cod was the highlight and I would recommend these to anyone. The portion sizes were perfect, we left the restaurant feeling full. The price was just right, you're paying for the high quality food and the experience. The waiters and hosts were lovely, from the greeting to the goodbyes and the attention to detail waiters put in to give you information on your dishes was fantastic. The views were excellent and to see London from that high up was absolutely breathtaking. Unfortunately there was one drawback, we had a two hour timeslot (This is stated in the small print) so we did miss out on the lucky cat dessert, we will just have to come back another time All in all it was an amazing experience and I would recommend visiting!”

“I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the extraordinary hospitality I received during dinner. I have visited most of the Michelin-starred restaurants in my home country, but I have never experienced such lavish and attentive treatment before. It was enough to make me regret not dressing a little more formally. I had heard that this kind of hospitality is more deeply rooted in Western dining culture, but experiencing it firsthand was genuinely delightful. The view is even more impressive in person than it appears in the restaurant’s social media promotions. It can be enjoyed comfortably throughout the meal, and if you dine in the evening, you can watch London gradually transform from daylight into night. The foie gras served as an appetizer, as well as the dishes paired with caviar, were also excellent. That said, I think some of the main courses may be more a matter of personal taste. Every dish was beautifully presented and looked extremely refined. I thought the cappuccino course was quite good, but the way the vegetables were paired with some dishes, the level of acidity in the sauce accompanying the fish, and the seasoning of the meat were slightly different from what suits my palate. I may simply have been unlucky with the scallop, in which I encountered a little grit, and with the main beef course, which had a few slightly tough sections and served in low temperature. The desserts were also very enjoyable. In particular, the flavours of the cheese, chocolate, and fruit were outstanding. One small point, however, is that because of the temperature difference created by the smoke presentation in the final dessert, the chocolate becomes rather difficult to remove from the fingers. I noticed that other diners besides myself also seemed to struggle with this, so it might be something worth adjusting. Even in matters unrelated to the food itself, such as the reservation process and payment, I was struck by the extraordinary level of care and attention given to every detail. I feel a little apologetic for including criticisms of some of the dishes, because overall I was extremely satisfied with the experience. I hope people understand that this is absolutely a restaurant worth visiting.”

“An exceptional dining experience that felt both refined and genuinely welcoming. Each course was beautifully put together, with a real sense of balance, high-quality ingredients, and elegant presentation. The flavours were thoughtful and memorable. The service was just as impressive. The team were attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and the wine pairing was excellent. Tom, in particular, stood out, his warmth, attention to detail, and clear expertise made the whole evening feel seamless and special. The atmosphere tied everything together perfectly, creating a space that was both comfortable and elevated. Overall, a restaurant that truly delivers on both gastronomy and hospitality. Highly recommended!!”

“RGRH April 1st , 2026 Reception not very welcoming sent to lucky cat when asked for restaurant Gordon Ramsay No greeting at chefs table despite only four people seated No explanation of the night, Mario AGM weak start. Team seemed nervous Had to ask for a champagne Poor explanation of the wine list Only 30 minutes in and disappointed. Hopefully things improve Tom (first day ) attending made it better (escorted to lift)and Chef James was super professional , Francis other front of house good and calm and super respectful First two courses great Condensation blurs the view hot air against cold stays on the windows Three servers for 12 customers adequate and attentive Two no show on the night. Adam (kitchen)presented the bread very well and super relaxed vibe. It’s getting better. Lobster tail amazing Turbot from Cornwall (this morning) and asparagus from Loire valley wow , Mario getting better now he has relaxed. I guess I can be intimidating. Chef James chef is great That said it’s all a bit chaotic at the front sometimes. Main course beautiful lamb from Lake District Herd-wick. Overall I feel a great experience but needs polish and maybe some discussion with AGM who is trying hard. “Sorry Mario” Front Service 4.0 Back service 4.8 Food 5.0 Ambience 4.2 View 5.0 Not sure who has the power on recruitment but I feel Chef James maybe has to assert more on this. Perhaps it’s the GM’s decision. Stepped into lucky cat after RGRH cool vibe and met Ali and Tatiana bar tenders on bar side awesome vibe. Made night great. Kudos to Kuwar/ Ryan less so James.”
